Your POV

Last day of school. Finally. I moved here from Baltimore less than a year ago, the only person I hang out with is Beverly. She's my best friend and currently we're smoking in the bathroom.

Me and Bev were in the stall together, sharing a cigarette and laughing, when we heard the door open and close. It was Greta Keene and her little friends. Greta sucked. We didn't say anything to her, but we could see under the door that she was right outside our stall, standing there. Her and her friends started calling us things. Sluts, trash, and loser as they dumped the trashcan over the stall onto us. Thankfully Bev covered us with her bag.

We walked out of the bathroom laughing, again. Bev was telling me about how she ran into the new kid and that he's pretty nice. I teased her as I usually do.

"So you likeeee him don't you"
"What? No"
"Mmmhm whatever you say"

We were at the entrance of the school when we saw her. Betty Ripsom's mom. It was quite sad, she was somehow expecting Betty to come walking out as though everything was normal. I felt for her, I know what it's like to lose family.

One special group of boys caught my eyes. The ones who called themselves "The Losers Club". I've had classes with one or two of the boys, I don't really know them, but I'd like to.

I saw something from the taller boy being thrown by Henry Bowers. God he gets on my nerves. He teases Beverly for no reason and calls her things. A rumor has gone around that she's "been" with him. Nastyyy.

It was his Kippah being thrown. It hit one of the buses and landed on the sidewalk near us. I grabbed it and we walked over.

"Hey I think this is yours" I smiled.
I noticed he was blushing a bit, "oh
th-thanks Audrey" he stuttered.
I giggled a bit and gave a little wave over my shoulder as I walked back over to Bev.

Stans POV

Ritchie was looking at me crazily.
"Dude Audrey just came up to YOU. Lucky bastard" he spoke as he hit my check with the back of his hand.
"She was giving me my kippah back she was just being nice"
"Sure Stan whatever. I'm gonna ask for her number sometime"

You rolled your eyes at Ritchie, he'd never actually ask her.

"I've s-seen her ar-r-round a bit"
"I had English with her" Eddie chimed in.

We went to the trash can and dumped out our bags.

"This is the best feeling ever"
"Try tickling your pickle for the first time"
We all looked at him in disgust.

I could still see Audrey from there, she was walking with Beverly Marsh. They were always together.

I couldn't help but admire Audrey. Her long, brown, flowy hair. Her big, blue eyes. Everything.

"Hellooooo Stanley. You're staring at her aren't you?"
"What? No, I was thinking about what we should do this summer."
"Well, what are your ideas?"
"I don't have any."
"Let's go to the barrens then" bill added. Everyone nodded as they got on their bikes.

We made it to the barrens and looked around in the tunnels for a bit when
we saw the new kid come barreling down the hill towards us. He was cut on his stomach and panting.

"Woah what happened to you?" Ritchie said, looking like he might laugh.
"Bowers."
"We need to get you bandaged up cmon we need to go to Keenes"

And off we went.

Your POV

Beverly had started her period, and I didn't have any products to give her, so we went to the pharmacy. We didn't bring money, so Bev and I decided we would distract Mr. Keene while one of us walk out. Keene was a huge perv, and the dad to Greta. Ha.

"Are you sure about this?"
"Yes Audrey we've done this before it'll be fine"
