Chapter 4

When I got to UA the next morning, the front gate was swarmed with reporters, all shouting out and demanding to see or interview All Might seeing as it was leaked that he was now teaching at UA. As soon as they saw me, they all crowded around me, shoving their mics in my face and asking me questions like, "Are you one of All Might's students?" or "What are your thoughts on All Might as a teacher?". Basically invading my personal space.

All of a sudden, a harsh grip pulled on my arm as Bakugo pulled me along while shoving his way through the horde of reporters. Once we were safely in the school grounds I smiled at him thankfully. "Thanks for saving me." He rolled his eyes, "Tch, just don't make me do it again dumbass."

We walked silently to class and everyone was talking about all the reporters at the front of the school. The door opened and in came our tired looking homeroom teacher.

Once we were seated and quiet, Aizawa explained to us that we needed to choose our class representatives. I watched silently as the class erupted, everyone wanting the chance to prove their leadership skills. I didn't want the job, so I just watched the chaos unfold.

Suddenly, Iida spoke up about how we should have an election, saying how anyone who got multiple votes meant that they were trustworthy. Though it seemed he wanted the job more than anyone.

While we were casting the votes I decided to vote for Iida, he seemed surprised that someone had voted for him. I smiled as I saw how proud he seemed to be voted for, even if he wasn't chosen as class representative.

In the end, the class representatives were Midoriya and Yaoyorozu, though Midoriya seemed extremely nervous as he stood in the front of the class. Once that was over, the first class started as we continued on with the day.

Once it was lunch, I sat down next to Kaminari again as we talked about random things. Suddenly, a loud alarm went off, saying it was a "Level 3 security breach". One of our upperclassmen ran past us, shouting about this had never happened in the three years he went to UA.

As soon as we exited the cafeteria, we were swept into the crowd of panicking students. I was separated from the group as I was pushed back and forth by the stampeding mob. Suddenly, a pair of hands grabbed my shoulders and pushed be against the wall before the person shielded me with their own body.

Looking up, I stared at the crimson eyed Kirishima as he looked down at me worriedly. He mouthed the words "Are you okay?" to me as I nod, slightly flustered at our current position. His hands were against the wall on both sides of my head, his chest lightly touching my arms that I held in front of me as his head was tilted down to stare into my eyes.

Looking up at him I noticed our height difference and just how small I was compared to him, him being 5'7" while I was the same height as Mina at 5'3". We both looked up when Iida flew through the air and crashed into the exit sign, yelling about how it was only the press outside.

I sighed in relief as I gently placed my head against Kirishima's chest, the taller boy blushing at the contact. I looked up again and gave him an eye smile, "Thanks for protecting me Kiri." He gave a large grin in response, "No problem! It was the manly thing to do, Pebble!"

I turned red at the nickname before tilting my head to the side, "Pebble?" He flushed, not realizing he had said that last bit out loud, "W-well yeah! Since y-you're kinda small compared to me and people always compare me to a rock b-because of my quirk, I got Pebble." He took a step back and dropped his arms before shyly rubbing the back of his neck.

I thought about it before smiling at him, "I like it!" He seemed to relax after that and we walked together once the crowd dispersed and met back up with the rest of the bakusquad.
