Three children slept soundly in their beds, their minds exploring the land of dreams. Their parents sat below celebrating their anniversary, sipping on their champagne and having a candlelit dinner.

They had been halfway through their main course when the front door was kicked in, and their windows shattered. The wife's screams of shock echoing around the house's walls.

In the kitchen, one member of staff had quickly run up the servant's staircase and into the sleeping angel's rooms. She had shaken them awake with a finger to her lip and a dressing gown thrown around their shoulders. You see ever since the night the three had vanished under the water, they had begun to develop supernatural abilities which worried their parents. They had obviously kept it to themselves in fear of endangering their children's lives, only telling an old family friend that worked with them.

They had done this as a precaution that they might not make it out of one of these hunter attacks alive. It had become a regular thing over the past few years as the children's powers grew so did the threat of hunters.

They had a routine that no matter how scared they were or how many people the hunters had killed that they would always run and never look back. They would run and hide leaving behind anything that they did not need.

It was a very gruesome thing to be taught at such a young age but their parents had drilled it into their brains so much that it had become second nature to grab their previously packed duffel bag, hidden in their wardrobes, and leave the house through an escape route that was built in any house they moved to.

That was what was happening now as they carefully crept across the landing and slid down a pole, hidden behind a faux bookcase, and crawled through a hidden passage

As they crawled their hands and knees soon becoming sore when the youngest of the three stopped and peeked through a hole she had spotted. Through that hole, she could see her mother and father, hands behind their backs and on their knees.

" Tell me where the sirens are!" One of the hunters demanded.

" We'll never tell you where they ar-!" Her mother had yelled before being cut off.

Bang!

He had shot her mother clean between her eyes, her lifeless body falling to the floor with a thud, blood staining the carpet, her husband's screams and cries echoing around the house.

" Mamma!" She had screamed grabbing the attention of several hunters as they scanned the room in search of the source of the noise.

" Gypsy let's go now!" Her brothers had yelled as they dragged her further down the tunnel, tears in their eyes as they tried their hardest not to let them fall, for they knew once they started they would not be able to stop.

When they had finally got to the end of the tunnel they had to climb this rusted ladder, which had clearly been there for many years, up to the top. Climbing out of a trapdoor hidden beneath fishing nets and rope,  getting a good look at their surroundings, they realised they were at a harbour.

The repulsive smell of fish hung in the air when  they were suddenly approached by an unknown man.

You kids lost?" A tough yet kind-looking man asked in a rough, deep voice that still managed to come across as friendly and warm.
