Sarah had had a hard and stressful week at volleyball and her figure skating was starting up again. She was sore everywhere and stressed even more than sore. Corbyn was the only thing keeping her sane and he was at the studio while she was having really bad anxiety.

"I-I need to C-call Corb-byn"

She dialed his number and he didn't pick up and then she heard the door open.

"Baby?" Corbyn called out and Sarah ran to him crying hard.

"Shh, shh Sunshine you're okay. I'm right here."

She started to calm down but was still upset and stressed.

"My little sunshine is upset. What's going on Baby?" Corbyn questioned genuinely concerned

I went on to explain the stress between sports and how sore I was. Everything was piling up so even the smallest things made me more upset. I had finally finished explaining and Corbyn looked at me and walked to the garage, grabbed a box and put it in the trunk. He went to the fridge grabbed food and packed it into a cooler before putting that in the car.

"C'mon Sunshine, we're going for a drive."

I followed him to the car and we drove to the beach. My favorite place. He set up the blanket in his car and took the cooler and box out of the trunk and put them next to us.

"This was gonna be part of your anniversary gift but, I think now is a better time. Open it"

I opened the box to see everything yellow. Food, games, books, CDs, even the box itself was yellow. At the bottom there were yellow envelopes that said "open when..."

"Open the one that says when you're having a rough time."

I nodded and open the envelope to read:

Sunshine,

I heard you weren't feeling it right now or you're just having a rough time. I'm here to remind you that it's okay to not be ok and it's okay to not want to talk but I hope you know you can talk to me when you need to. You are the sun in my world and you keep even the darkest days bright. I love you so much, keep smiling and don't let anyone take my sunshine away.

Forever yours,
Your Astronaut

I was crying out of joy after I read it and hugged Corbyn as tight as possible. We just stayed there enjoying each other's presence. Until finally he said

"Let's go get some food"

I nod and say "we can get food while I figure out how to top your gift."

"There's my little ball of sunshine." He said smiling. Happy to see the clouds hadn't blocked her for long.
