Chapter 4

Silence. Nothing but silence was heard as both of the males sat awkwardly, not knowing what to say. Dahee had left earlier, leaving Jungkook with Taehyung to truly see if he was any good as a babysitter. And maybe that had been a bad idea because now they just sat there without knowing what to do. The elder tried to find words to say but nothing seemed to leave his mouth, his eyes drifting towards the younger, who shifted uncomfortably under the gaze of the elder.

Taehyung's onyx eyes travelled along Jungkook's features making the boy shift uncomfortably again. "I-is there something on my face?", the boy stuttered out slightly as a soft blush filled it. Nervousness prickling inside of him. "Besides beauty, I don't think so, no.", the elder claimed as he laid back with a smirk, seeing the boy blush again as he looked away.

"Geez, what a flirt.", Jungkook muttered as he shook his head, sighing at the fact that he could be studying right now. Taehyung laughed at the responds as he shook his head amused, carefully standing up and sitting next to the raven head, who looked slightly confused at the action. "You know.", the elder's voice was deep as he looked closely at the male, "We've now met three times coincidentally. I think I hear the weeding bells ringing.", the elder claimed as he watched the angel blush slightly, before laughing at the statement shaking his head.

"Well, isn't somebody feeling confident. In love already?", Jungkook spoke back as he titled his head slightly, making the elder gulp at the exposed collor bone. For a matter of fact, the elder had been infatuated since day one, but love? He wasn't so sure, a short silence engulfed them, but before the elder could speak up again a loud crash was heard.

"Omg! Uncle Taehyung, no! Ew. Not in front my eyes!", a rather young boy screamed as he covered his eyes, having crashed into the chairs, making the elder widen his eyes, before backing away. "Tannie. It was definitely not that.", the brunette spoke as he stood up, walking towards his nephew, who looked at him suspiciously. "Sureeee~ than who is your 'friend'?", Yeontan questioned with a cheeky smile, looking at his uncle, who fell speechless for a second. The small brunette raised his eyebrows teasingly, watching as his uncle had a soft blush on his face.

"I'm your new caretaker.", Jungkook claimed as he stood up, a soft smile filling his face as he approached the kid. Yeontan formed an 'oh' with his mouth as he nodded. The small boy looked at the male in adoration as he saw him approach and crouch down to his eye level, next to his uncle. Yeontan looked at the angelic beauty mesmerised before confidently speaking.

"I'm Yeontan and I'm 6 years old!", the boy claimed as he stood up and smiled with a bright smile, making Jungkook laugh slightly at the cute action. "I'm Jungkook. It's nice to meet you.", the raven muttered as he felt the boy clap his hands excitingly, before looking at him with puppy eyes. "Can I call you Kookie?", he requested, which made the raven smile brightly and nod. Yeontan jumped into his arms, making the raven laugh as he hugged the boy back. Taehyung stared in awe at the scene, his eyebrows raised in surprise. Jungkook was a natural with children. God, how he just wanted to bend him over and— okay, his thoughts were getting side tracked.

"Aren't you a cutie.", the raven spoke as he broke away from the hug, only to see a frozen Yeontan staring at him. "I think I'm in love.", the small brunette muttered as he gasped and tackled the older, sending both of them to the floor. Taehyung stared for a while, until he found himself growing jealous. He pouted softly as he scoffed, before pulling Yeontan up and away from Jungkook.

"Tannie, leave Jungkook alone. You'll squish him to death.", the blue head sighed as he ruffled his hair, only earning a whine in protest from Yeontan and a short but cute giggle from Jungkook. It seemed like falling in love with the raven haired male was something everybody did.

"Are you hungry, Yeontan?", Jungkook questioned caringly, making the boy nod enthusiastically as he smiled brightly. Taehyung eyed the exchange with a small smile as he cleared his throat slightly, feeling his face heat up. "Then let's go get you some food, okay?", the bunny claimed as Yeontan stretched his arms out, an indication that he wanted to be picked up. Jungkook immediately obliged as he picked the smaller up with a soft smile, seemingly forgetting the need to study.
