Chapter 10

Jungkook sighs as he walks up the stairs, his breath exhilarating by how many he had to go up but the panic of seeing Taehyung again just made it worse. He could feel his heart beat in his chest beating louder and louder, his feet dragging him to the door. Sweat dripped down from his body as he felt a sudden cold rush against him. His hands reached out for the doorbell when the door suddenly burst open.

The younger flinched in surprise at the sudden action, only to come face to face with a small brunette, who had the biggest smile on his face.
Jungkook sighed in relief as the sudden heart attack calmed down, only hearing fits of giggling from the boy.

"See Uncle Tae! He gets scared easily. I told you!" Yeontan claimed with a bright smile, making Taehyung shake his head and put his head in his hands. His eyes glancing towards the raven haired male.

"I don't get scared easily!" Jungkook claimed with a huff, a small smile finding it's way to his lips. "Yes, you do!" Yeontan claimed. "You got scared by a little kid opening the door!"

Jungkook squinted his eyes, "You didn't just open the door though," he muttered,  referring to the fact Yeontan had swung it open. He sighed as he shook his head, his eyes finally meeting Taehyung, who was staring back at him. Awkward.

However, that is when the boy noticed that both of the males were dressed as if they were about to go out. Jungkook raised an eyebrow when he noticed, "Are you going somewhere?" The little boy simply nodded ecstatically. "Yeah! We are all going shopping! I thought Uncle Tae told you! We don't really have any groceries left. We haven't even had breakfast yet", the brunette muttered with an adorable pout. Taehyung just rolled his eyes, "You literally just ate Pancakes."

"They tasted horrible.", Yeontan complained, puffing his cheeks. Jungkook just laughed as he bent down to pat the boy's head.

"Well, then, we better get going then. We don't want you to starve, do we?" Jungkook claimed with a big smile, making the smaller boy nod his head.

"Strawberries!"

"Cherries!"

"Strawberries!"

"Cherries!"

"Could you two stop fighting about what topping to buy for the cupcakes and just get the chocolate already. Let's just do fifty fifty, okay?" Jungkook said in irritation. Rolling his eyes, he poked his cheek with a tongue and watched as Taehyung nodded and disappeared into another aile. Jungkook just clicked his tongue as he grabbed the cherries and strawberries. Yeontan just pouted.
