Secrets

"You did what?!"
Addy couldn't believe what she was hearing. Coach French had killed Wills? Why?
"Why? Also. Why did you bring me into it?!"
Addy was beginning to grow angry at coach. Why had she lied to Addy? Why did she bring her into it? Why did she bring Addy to his apartment? Addy had so many questions.
"I couldn't handle it anymore. He was becoming to much. I'm sure you heard him the night have came over." Coach exclaimed.
"Oh I sure did. You didn't mind him in your nickers though did you? Did someone help you kill him?" Addy said quite loudly.
"Bubs asleep can you please keep it down?" Coach asked.
"Yeah whatever but I have some questions and you're going to answer them."
Addy wasn't letting coach get away with this, she was going to find out everything.
"Did someone help you? Addy asked.
"Well yes, Matt did."
"Matt did? But why? Did Matt know you were cheating on him with the man you made him help you kill?!"
"Well no and he can't find out. I couldn't handle Wills anymore. He wouldn't stop harassing me while we were at Nationals. I knew Matt could help get rid of him."
"Why did you bring me there, to Wills apartment?"
"I don't know. I guess I was scared."
"Wow." Addy said.
Addy scoffed. She couldn't believe this, she could not believe what she was hearing. Was this happening right now?
"You do realise that the case is now deemed as suspicious? And, and he had a wife?"
This was all becoming to much.
"Yes he HAD a wife. I had nothing to do with that. I didn't even know he had a wife." Coach exclaimed.
"Make sure you keep this a secret from everyone, especially Beth." Coach said with a stern look on her face.
Addy knew the time was right. She didn't care anymore, she was going to hold back anymore.
"Coach?"
"Yes?"
"I....like you. I do okay. I've liked you the day I saw you. Walking in. I knew you were uptight but I knew you could help us win."
It took coach a minute to process what she had just heard.
"But. If you liked me why did you help me hook up with Wills?"
"I don't know...I-"
Addy didn't know what to say.
"Well maybe, maybe something can happen." Coach said while looking at Addy
She was confused. What did coach mean?
"Isn't Matt here?"
"No he's at work."
The two sat quiet for a minute. Eventually coach looked up at Addy. They stared at each other for a moment longer.
"I'm sorry Addy."
And with that Coach leaned in and kiss Addy.
