ACT 1
I stared at the stars, looking at them growing dimmer than flaming up again. It's crazy to think these bright objects are a million light years away from us, and yet we still see them so bright.
"If we go to japan today" sang in the background, i turned to see my phone ringing.
I immediately read who was calling me while the telescope sat there, ready to be packed, "Hange-san", quickly putting the phone to my ear while answering it. "Yes hange-san? Aren't you at work right now, you know working with chemicals," i said looking at the equipment waiting to be put away.
"Well yes, But! I found a new chemical reaction and I wanted to tell you immediately! You're the only one up since your job requires you to be up late to see the stars and planets!" she said as genuinely excited as ever, her voices getting louder, before quieting down.
"Hange-san, I hope you didn't stay over-time again, you need to start taking care of yourself! When was the last time you showered, brushed your teeth, washed your face!" I said as I got more concerned, "I understand that you get excited and forget or don't care, but you can't continue to work with chemicals if your hygiene and health are bad!" I finished my scolding.
"I know, I know, I'm trying, I promise that. But this chemical reaction was so cool....."
ACT 2
When i got home, Hange wasted no time tackling me, squeezing me, and spewing out "welcome home! I love you very much, more than the chemical reactions!" I got to admit I smiled, who knew that this chemical obsessed, knowledge crazy person could be so lovable. People say they get headaches from them, from their long rants about science to their loud voice of excitement, which happens all the time. I find those things adorable, they make them, you know them.
As I wrapped my arms around them I inhaled, they smelled like my version of a home, and to pinpoint the smell, it was like a forest where all the plants combined. 'I never want to let go, not of my home, not of my love,' I thought , as I hugged them tighter.
We laid there on the floor, just sitting there, with each other, for who knows how long, but to me it felt like thirty seconds. "I made some Spaghetti! I made sure not to burn it this time, and in my opinion it turned out amazing. I used the herbs from outside to cook it and i'm guessing that using the herbs and not burning it makes it ten-times better!" she said getting up and jumping around.
ACT 3
Hange sat there scribbling away, before turning to me and saying, "lookie lookie lookie lookie!"
I turned around and faced her before having something shoved in my face, it was a wrinkled paper, probably because of the aggressive erasing that left faded marks.
"Hange this is adorable," as I looked at the drawing of us that was the equivalent of a three year old. "Thank you hange, thank you" as I hugged her. She squealed and hugged my back, it's more than evident she was proud in that moment.
I toppled over as she put more force behind the hug and squeezed, both of us laughing before we went silent and layed, cuddled, on that mahogany couch with a few pillows, most of them were on the floor, and a quilt. 'I will never forget, nor get used to the comfort she brings me, the comfort of her is something highly addictive."
ACT 4
"Whether it's rain or shine, I know I'm fine for now"
"Or maybe it's just a dream that I can't seem to wake up from"
"My love's gone, my love's gone"
"My love's gone, my love's gone"
"Please don't leave me, not now not now, I want t-"
