Chapter 10

DANIELLE P.O.V
Ryder was saying something when I hear my phone go off. I looked down at it and almost screamed.
"Liz!! Bitch why haven't called until now? Oh tell me the news. Ok. Yep, I know that. No fucking way. Come down and talk with me about it please. Because you love your best friend more than basketball. Ok see you in a few days! Bye bebe, love you!"

I ended the call and looked up at Ryder smiling happily. He looked down at me majorly confused.
"My bestest friend in the whole world is coming down to see me in a couple days," I said smiling. He made an o shape with his mouth and smiled.

"So what were you going to ask me," I asked him curiously.

"Oh yeah, that. Well I think you're really pretty and super nice and I find it hilarious how you boss my bet- best friend around all the time, so I guess I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend," he said really quickly. I internally smirked and asked, "What was that again?"

"Will you be my girlfriend," he asked, slower this time.

"Wellllll," I said looking deep in thought, "of course." His face brightened and he scooped me up in a hug lifting me off my feet. I laughed and said, "But please take it slow, my pass relationships have been terrible."

He nodded his head and set me down, oh if only he knew what happened.

RYDER P.O.V

I can't believe she actually said yes! I know we're moving really fast, but we both feel the mate bond. When she ended her call, I was actually kinda scared. I've never seen someone so excited to talk to their best friend, and to call them a bitch? Yeah, I don't know of any person like that. But Danielle is special, one of a kind even. I'm actually really excited to meet her best friend. They seem really close, I wonder if Liz rides horses with Danielle.

"Hey Ryder, I'm going to go rub Sassy down and then I think I'm going to head back to the house. You can come with me to the stall if you want." I smiled and nodded my head, letting her lead the way, glancing at her perfect butt every couple steps.

"If you're staring at my butt, I'll slap you," she said glancing back at me, glaring slightly with a slight smile on her face. I smirked at her. I can't help myself, I thought to myself, with Gage growling his approval.

We got to Sassy's stall, and I watched her get to work, humming a couple songs. I smiled and watched her.

"ALP- RYDER!!" Luke came running into the barn, "There is some trouble with wild animals in the south pasture."

I understood his hint, and nodded,"Be there in a few Luke."

Danielle looked at me, and asked if she should leave in case they got out of control. "I don't want you to get hurt or something bad to happen to you, so why don't you go home and I'll text you when I have everything under control." I smiled at her to secretly tell her everything would be ok. Those rouges will be taken care of.
