12 Camping

Certain moments feel tense around Bakugo since the kiss. It's like walking on eggshells sometimes , you never know if he's going to bring it up or not , so far there has only been silence and awkward glances. The urge to mention it , to ask him if the one, small kiss we shared is taking up his mind as much as it is mine. Yet I stay quiet , not wanting to make our frequent but empty interactions any more awkward than what they already are.

Like most lessons go at UA , Aizawa goes flicks through slide after slide in the presentation made to teach us about the origin of quirks and the importance of knowing what a 'quirk' really is. My attention drifts after the first couple of slides , becoming more focused on the droplets of water quickly gathering on the window beside me as the clouds shield the sky and rain heavier and heavier as the minuets go by. I apparently had become so indulged in watching the droplets roll down the glass that I didn't hear the knock at the door that was clearly more interesting than the lesson as every bodies eyes were fixed on the entrance to the class room.

Aizawa opens the door with a sigh , noticeably frustrated that yet another one of his lessons have been interrupted , but the corridor remains empty. He looks left and right to see If any one is there, shutting the door after realising that no one is there.

Seconds after the lesson is continued , something soft and fluffy strokes against the bottom of my leg. I look down to see what it is , only to see a small, grey kitten sat next to my foot , looking up at me with eyes a shade of blue so similar to sapphires they could trick any professional jeweller with ease. But still not enchanting enough to ware me away from the fact that Vice had been the one knocking at the door just a minuet ago and is now no larger than the palm of my hand and clearly trying to get my attention in some way. "Vice, what are you doing here!"

He doesn't speak back , of course. Instead he jumps up onto my lap , not taking into consideration the fact that I am in the middle of a lesson and there is no way that he has gone unnoticed for this long.

"(Y/N)!!" Mr Aizawa lazily shouts "I don't care for any excuse you come up with , just remove that cat from my class and start paying attention , you cant afford the damage to your grades"

"Yes sir"

I pick up kitten Vice and walk out of the classroom with him. Once i shut the door he turns into his human from, fully clothed

"Cmon (y/n), dont make me go. Its so boring with the others" He wines

"I dont care, you shouldnt have come here in the first place!"  I begin pushing him down the corridoor

"Fine. Ill be back later though"

"What ever, jsut dont bother me while im in class again!" I push him out the door then start walking back to  class

I open the classroom door and get stares from all the students. Some of the girls were still mad at me from my little outburst the other week, which i understand but they did deserve it. The boys had all forgiven me and act like their usual selfs.

I sit down in my chair infront of Mina (I honestly dont remeber where i sat anyone. but your sat second to the front with Bakugo next to you and mina behined). I could feel her staring at me angrly but i turn around to talk to her anyway

"Look, Mina. Im sorry for shouting at you and the others. I was just quite mad in the moment. Sorry" I give her an apologetic smile and hope she will forhive me

"Thank god. The last week  has been sooo boring without being able to talk to you. Its okay" She gives me a big grin and a thumbs up

I turn back around and pay attention to Aizawa

"We're going camping" He sighs

"Really!"

"Yayy!"

"Do we share tents with the girlsss?"

"Shut up mineta!"

"Yes, we are going camping. Tommorow"

"Tomorrow?" The whole class shouts

"This is AllMighs idea. He wants you all to go camping in the woods to learn survival skills. So you all need to pack your bags tonight and get some rest. Were leaving early tommorow, 5am sharp"

The whole class sighs after hearing the time we will have to wake up at but no one complained and we all just agreed to the trip

The next morning in the dorms

I had packed all the nesesaties last night so i could sleep for as long as possible this morning. It was 4:36 when Vice walks in, in his lion form scaring everyone before they all realised who it was

"Vice, why are you hear again. I told you that were going camping for a week!" I say slightly angry

"I wanted to come with you. And its not like they can say no to a lion is it"

"Clearly you havent met Aizawa" Denki interjects

"He has a point" I say while wiping my eyes

"Whatever. Im coming with you weather you like it or not"

I see Bakugo tiredly walk into the common room with his bag, dropping it on the ground then leaning against the wall closing his eyes. He was wearing sweats and his skull top. His hair was all messy and there was a little bit of toothpaste at the corner of his mouth. He looked so cute half asleep

"Im going over there" I gesture towards Bakugo "Either stay here with zappy or leave. Dont bother me" I say to Vice

I walk over to the half asleep Bakugo and nudge his arm, making him quickly wake up and look around beofre his crimson eyes met my (e/c) ones

"Tch, idiot" He stands up straight really close to me with his arms crossed. "Whats your lion boyfriend doing here?"

"Hes not my fucking boyfriend! And hes here because he wants to come with us, i told him no but he didnt listen" I move even closer to him, slightly infront of him so the left of him was pushed up behined me

Mr Aizawa comes into the room causing everyones attention to go to him.

Bakugo leaned down behined me and picked up his back, accidnetly brushing his hand against my ass

"Sorry" He whispers to me, slightly blushing

"Its aight" I calmy reply and wipe the toothpaste off the side of his mouth with my thumb

"Why is there a lion here?" Mr Aizawa asks, glaring at me

"Sorry sir. He jsut came to say bye to me" I lie

"Okay. Get rid of him now"

"No wait." Mina shouts "Cant we keep him? Cmon, look at how cute he issss" Mina begs while holding onto Vices fur and wiggling it around. Vice looked up at Aizawa, making his eyes look big and cute (Like when puss in boots does it)

"I really dont care. Now everyone bring your stuff and get on the buss, its gonna be a long drive" Aizawa groans while walking towards the exit

"Yayyyy!" Mina, Kirishima, Kminari and ururaka cheer, doing a dance around Vice

"Your sitting next to me" Bakugo grumbles while grabbing my wrist with his free and hand starts dragging me towards the door

"Wait! I need to get my shit, hold on" I pull away from him and grab my bag then go back to him

"Why the fuck is your bag so big?" He asks while we walk towards the bus

"I dont know what were gonna be doing, i had to pack for any situation"

"What ever. Here" He grabs my bag and puts it in the storage part of the coach

"Uh, thanks Bakubabe" I giggle,lightly smacking his chest and pull him onto the bus

We sit down right at the back while the rest of the class were sat closer to the front.

"What did you call me?"

"Bakubabe, you got a problem with that" I raise an eyebrow and cross my arms, trying to get a reaction out of him

"Call me Katsuki, Bakubabe is weird"

"Wowww. Your letting me call you Katsuki, i feel honoured" I pretend to gloat and flip back my hair

"What ever. I can tolarate you okay"

"You really know how to flatter a woman dont you, Katsuki"

"...Go to sleep or some shit. Your annoying"

"Cute"

I fold up my pillow i brought with me and place it right next to Bakugos leg. I slide down a seat and lay down, putting my head half on Katsukis lap and half on the pillow. I look up at him and lay my hair over his lap, hinting for him to play with it. He stares down at me with the smallest blush on his cheeks, a few seconds after staring he puts his hands on my hair and begins running his fingers through it.

After a few minuets i begin to fall asleep to the sound of the engine and the feeling of bakugos hands in my hair. I would be lying if i said i didnt have butterflys. Being this close and vunrable around Katsuki made me feel safe and comfortable, i never feel this comfortable around anyone.
