My eyes fluttered open to see Steves face a mere inch infront of mine. A small yelp left my mouth as I attempted to jump back. Failing epicaly as we were still in the sleeping bag. Steve awoke suddenly from my jolt. Finally I calmed down as I had been officially tangled in the sleeping bag. A heavy sigh left my mouth as I gave up flopping my head back onto the pillow. A soft chuckle left his lips.

"Stuck?" His rough morning voice gave me shivers as he asked. I turned my head to face him. His eyes bore into mine. Never did his gaze falter as he lifter his right arm over me to unzip the the brown sleeping bag. As he went to move his arm his skin grazed mine on my exposed shoulder. The touched was only a microsecond long but left goosebumps in its wake. I don't know how long I stared at his ocean blue eyes but soon a growl came from my stomach. I could feel my cheeks heat slightly and quickly took my eyes off of his. I pulled the bag off of my body and stood up. Never once did I look back at him but I felt his eyes on me the entire time. I pulled a sweatshirt over my head and pulled on my sneakers before unzipping the tent and stepping out. I zipped it back up amd turned to the small group that had formed under the overhang. My long strides brought me down the hill and to the group rather quickly.

"Hey Donny did you make any coffee?" I glanced around the feel others all with their own mug.

"Yeah there is a pot in the trailer." I gave a small thanks before heading into the trailer. Kelly and Wendy layer asleep on the pull out couch bed as I walked in. The sisters 'loved' camp in but refused to actually sleep in a tent. There total of four kids shared the other two beds in the trailer. Shaking my head I silently opened the cupboard. My hand wrapped around a red mug and I pulled it out and closed the cupboard just as silently as I opened it. Working for shield definitely had its perks. I poured the mug full adding cream and sugar before heading out of the trailer. Donny already was starting to make scrambled eggs and french toast. The aroma was delicious and made my mouth water. Donny was an amazing cook but refused to make it his career always stating he had to stay in the family business. I sat down next to Rick and Rodney. They were Donny's kids and worked for him at a auto body. They bickered as always about hunting or cars, making me laugh softly.

It had been maybe twenty minutes and a few had joined our group. A table had started to be filled with food and the people who were up were scattered amount the few tables. A zipping sound was heard from up the hill. I turned to see who was up and a smiled formed on my face as steve emerged from our tent. I didn't realize I had stood up and had taken a dew steps forward till I was next to Donny. He looked away from the grill to me.
"Ya need something?" His old raspy voices asked. My eyes moved to Steve who was making his way down the hill to the overhang.
"No I was just wondering if you needed help?" My eyes quickly darted back to Donnys waiting for his answer. Donny glanced over his shoulder and saw Steve approaching us. His eyes returned to mine. "Im good you should go see your boyfriend over there." Donny lifted the spatula and pointed at Steve. The slight warmth that I had become so used to now a days engulfed my cheeks. Mumbling a 'yeah' in response I turned and walked over to one of the tables. Steve sat down on my right wrapping and arm around my shoulders.
"Good morning beautiful." He whispered to me. My gaze turned from the table to him. A smile formed on my face.
"Good morning. You ready for today?" I asked excitedly. He had no idea what we have planned. Rick and Jay brought up their quads and rangers and I may have left out that part to steve.
"What exactly are we doing today?" A devilish smirk crossed my face.
"You'll see."

The group of men led the way with me trailing not far behind. Steve looked around our surroundings still beyond confused.
"So where are we going?" I glanced over at steve.
"We are going to have some fun."
"But what are we doing?" He finally stopped looking down the steep hill we were desending down and looked over to me.
"If I told you my secrecy would be pointless." I knew he would be okay with my plans, but he would definitely be surprised. We were heading in the same direction as the creek. Some of the smaller kids are down there right now. Catching crawdads and swimming. I used to go down there. Until I found out what these men do every time we come up.

A minute or so later we finally arived at our destination. It,was exactly halfway between the creek and our camp. We stepped off the steep hill onto the dirt road that disappears in both directions behind the tall oak trees. There sitting in the middle of the street was four quads and a Polaris ranger. Steve took one look at them before turning to me.
"All it is is some quads?" I smirked hw had no idea about the trails that ran all over the mountains and hills that surrounded us.
"Yeah just quads." I turned to face Rick who was started to head over to the vechiles.
"Yo Rick! Can we ride one of the quads?" I knew that the quads who make for a better time. Especially since captain had no idea what was coming.
"Sure you can take mine. I ride the ranger." I gave him a thanks before quickly making my way to the quad at the front of the group. Steve started to mount the quad before I spoke up.
"Nuh uh. I'm driving."

Thanks so much for the reads you guys have no idea how happy I am that you would read my book!! I know I haven't updated in a while but I've been really busy and life has just been plain hectic. So I started to put a cast together. Not many of the characters that have been in the last two chapters will be there later but a few will reappear. This is mainly the basics but still. Oh plus Angelina's mom from the beginning if you were wondering what she looked like.
