I had just finished recording my new song, when my manager came and told me I was finished for the day. So I packed my things and left to grab a coffee and donuts in a cafe five blocks away.

While I was walking down the street I looked over to the side and saw a little girl looking sad, lonely, and hungry. So I took it upon myself and walked up to her wondering if she's okay.

"Uh, hey my name's Demi... what's yours?" I asked

"Hi I'm Lexi" She said.

"Sorry to ask but where are your parents?" As I said that her expression fell down as if remembering something.

"I-I don't have any, I live in a place with no parents"

I felt bad asking that after seeing her mood change, it was obvious this was a touchy subject. So I tried to change it.

"Well... have you eaten today? Because I was just walking to a cafe to go eat, do you want to come with me?" I asked in a hopeful tone of voice.

"Uhm.. i-if it's not too much trouble."

"Of course not, now come on." I grabbed her hand and together we walked to the cafe.

When we got to the cafe I told Lexi to choose a table for us to sit in, we sat and a waiter came and gave us the menus before walking away.

"So Lexi have you decided what you want yet?"

"Yeah, can I have a donut with orange juice please?" She asked unsure of it.

"Are you sure? Cause you can get anything you want, you know" I said after pulling my menu down.

"Really... I have never gotten what I want before" She said suddenly with a brighter tone.

"Well I guess today is your lucky day then" I smiled at her.

Hey guys! So if you've read this story before you'll notice that it didn't completely look like this. I've decided to edit this story considering I made it a long time ago, and with grammatical errors and all that I'm sure it's annoying so yeah, I'll put (edited) at the start of chapters so you'll be notified about it. And think you all for all the reads, can you believe we're at 7k!!
