*Third pov.*
The group made into the barn panicking, the farmer closes the door behind him holding it, Michel is looking around to find something heavy to block the door. Angie rushes to the ladder as she yelling at them to come.
Angie: Come on guys! We got to go!
Bob: Michel go, I've got it!
Michael: Not without you.
Angie: Come guys!
They didn't listen to her as they ignore her, she climbs up the ladder as screams for them to come again they didn't listen. Michael tries to find something big and heavy to block the door but it was too late as the infected breakthrough the door attacks the farmer, Michael runs to the ladder climbs up before he gets a chance to reach the top Angie appear kicks him down to the grown before he had a chance the infected grabs him dragging away, one of the infected notice her as it climbs up but she closes the trapdoor making her escape through a window.
Back with Thomas, he and his father are fighting against the infected they killed about five together but Thomas's father drops his crowbar and, notice that there are too many of them as they breaking into other places in the house.
Thomas Father: Thomas we got to go come on!
Thomas follows his father passing the stairs but his father notices the girl from earlier runs upstairs into one of the rooms.
Thomas Father: Wait she up there.*runs upstairs*
Thomas: Dad!
Thomas runs after him as he reaches upstairs and sees his father went into the second room, he soon follows and enters the room close the door locking it.
Thomas: Dad, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?
Thomas Dad: She ran in here!
His father looks around the room under the bed, behind the dresser, then notice the cupboard slightly open. He opens it and finds the girl hiding.
Thomas Dad: *grabs the girl* Take her and go throw the bathroom.
He pushes both of them to the bathroom but he stops his son.
Thomas Dad: Son, I'm sorry and know that I love you. Promise me that you keep surviving.
His son confuses about what he talking about and before he knows it his father pushes both of them into the darkroom closing it.
*Thomas pov.*
I try to break down the door with the bat in my hand but it would not make a dent, turn around and grab the cloth and see outside open the window climbing out, I turn to grab the girl as he was climbing out but then out of nowhere an infected grab her and pull her inside and I try to hold on, but we both lost our grips she disappears in the darkness try to go after but I slip on the tile roll of the roof falling on the ground.
I was dazed but soon passes I grab the bat get from the ground look to right there group of infected coming my way, so I start running where the river is, I run passes the house and the hedge as I got some distance from the house I then notice a figure at the window, at the moment everything seems to slow down. The figure was my father smiling at me and on the window, there were words that he wrote.
Me: "Stay alive! I Love You and Your Mother!
I see him smiling but then he has pulled away from the window and disappeared into the darkness. I kept running and never look back, I could hear the infected gaining on me. Then what scared me when I look to my left to see more of them.
