~Chapter Three~

Just imagine the girl had brown eyes and brown hair.

"Emery...wake up"

     I shot straight up. "Uhhh.. what" I said. I was obliviously tired. Saving somebody,getting injured and now he's waking me up. This is gonna be a great day isn't it? Hint my sarcasm. "Hey now you're awake. Come on. Let's go do our quest. We have to go save hyrule. Remember?" He said.

     I nodded. Trying to get up I still failed cause of my leg. "You hungry?" I asked link. He is always hungry from my point of view.
He nodded instantly. I made simmered fruit and gave him some. I had some too but as soon as I poured mine, he had finished. He is such a pig. "Can I please have some more?" He said. We both laughed together.

     "I'll meet you both where two lines meet together. There I can tell you everything" the old man said. He then disappeared out of nowhere. We both looked at each other. "where did he go?" I asked. Link shrugged.

     I didn't like how link would go in the shrine alone. It worried me a lot. But it's okay it was only puzzles...right?

     "Hey link do the little map mode on your sheika slate. I might know what he's talking about" I asked. He nodded and pulled his slate out. He then gave it to me. I looked at it for a second. There was only one tower we had.

     There were at least 12 towers that I know of. The great plateau, dueling peaks, layanru, akkala, Eldin, faron, lake, gerudo, tabantha, hebra, woodland, wasteland and central tower. Central tower had a whole bunch of guardians beside it so were no where near ready to go there. It also had Hyrule Castle in it.

     "There. The temple of time is where he wants us to go" I said placing a pinpoint on where we needed to go. "How do you know?"  Link said, full with curiosity. "Look. The 4 shrines we got all lead to that long x. The long x is the temple of time. Also there's no other place that has an x. We've been everywhere on the platue" I replied back, answering his question.

     He nodded. "Then let's go. We don't want to waste any daylight" link said. I began to walk but he grabbed my wrist. "We don't have to walk. The old man told me that we can travel using the sheika slate. I never tried it though and I hope we don't end up somewhere off the plateau or something like that" he said. "But if you've never tired it then how do we know it actually works?" I said but he didn't listen.
 
     He pulled me close to him and pressed something on the slate. We then turned into blue and disappeared like that. We then appeared at the great plateau tower. "Okay well that was... wired?" I said.

      It made my head dizzy. "I found it amazing!" Link said.
"Well the only worse thing about it is we have to go down. As in walk down. The first time we did it I fell off at the 3rd step because of my leg" I said, getting up and looking down.

    "Don't worry I got you this time" link said. He then picked me up by surprise. "Link! Put me down! Now!" I said. I was blushing madly. "Nope!" He said, popping the p. He then jumped off step by step. I squealed every time he did this. First it was the going alone in the shrine's now it's picking me up and scaring me half to death when he stepped onto another.

     We then stopped because we were on the ground. Link stared into my wood brown eyes while I started into his ocean blue eyes. It felt like I was looking into a endless pit and it wouldn't let me stare at something else.  "Umm....link? You can put me down now" I said, breaking the silence. "Oh yeah. Sorry" he said while he put me on my feet.

     "It's okay. The it's almost noon so let's go to the temple of time now" I said, then started to walk."Hey wait up!" He said running towards me. I laughed. He then caught up and started to cough. " Link. You we'rnt even running and you're already tired. How?" I asked him. He is such a baby sometimes.

     "Well you were to far away from me so...yeah" he said, catching his breath. "I wasn't even a inch away from you" I said, laughing. He stuck his tounge out at me. "Whatever" he said, pouting. He was adorable when he pouted. We soon walked up some stairs.

     Then we were in front of it, the temple of time. It's was only on ruins tho. There was pieces of wood missing from the roof. There was moss growing all over to sides or the temple. There was no door but there were the door hinges left. We walked in seeing a chest in the right side.

     I walked over to it and opened the chest. There were 300 ruppies sitting in there. I opened my bag and put the ruppies inside. I walked back over to link. "Link! Emma! Up here!" Someone said. We looked up above us and there was a man. The old man. "okay how does he possibly get up there?!?" Link said.

     "I dunno. Maybe there's a ladder somewhere. If not let's hope we can climb" I said looking around. "Like we'd find a ladd-"
"Link! A ladder! I found one!" I said interrupting him. His mouth opened because he was shocked. "Come on! We don't want to waste time do we?" I said climbing up the ladder. Link ran to me and started to climb it too.

     We climbed up and looked to see the old man. We slowly walked over to him. We walked slowly because the boards were at least 100 years old. Who knows when there goons fall. "I see you have arrived. It's finally time I tell you everything..." He paused. He then transformed into something royal. He still had his beard but he had on a cloak along with a crown.

     Under the cloak he had a plain white shirt.  Wait...was he... The... "I am king rhoam Bosphoramus Hyrule. The last king of Hyrule" he said. Are faces were shocked. The old man was actually a king in disguise. " Link. You were hyrules champion, Zelda's appointed knight. Link you and Zelda were going to seal calamity Gannon away forever. But you both failed. I can't fully blame you."
He paused but continued

     " You Emma, you were from  a place called (Place). you were my brothers daughter. Your father sent you to Hyrule to help seal the calamity away along with your cousin, the princess Zelda and link. You were also a princess. There were four champion's for all races. The Zora, Rito, Goron and gerudo. There names were Mipha, Revali, Deruk and Urbosa. "

     "They had piloted the four divine beasts. They were also helping to seal the calamity. But they all died, except for my daughter, the princess. Zelda, she's trapped inside that beast, Calamity Gannon. Go to the pin point on your map. The village is called kakariko village. A girl named impa can tell you more about what I just said. But please, go and save the princess, save Zelda. For me" the king said.

     He pointed to the chest beside him and told him there's only one paraglider. So they both would have to share for now. He told Emma that she can also get one from impa.

     "Now go. Save the princess. Save Hyrule. Defeat the Calamity once and for all"

He said then faded away.
