Tuesday 1:00 am
Soldier POV
It's been a few days since the last time I talked with Torcher, I decided that I was going to talk to him some more tomorrow, I would like to talk with him now but it's 1:00 am and he's probably asleep or maybe he's looking at the stars again like he was that one night.
I couldn't sleep, I was excited to talk with Torcher. Just thinking of him makes me as excited as a child that's about to go to a ice cream shop. I got up and walked outside, I wanted to walk around a bit to stretch my legs. I stopped as I saw a dark figure in the shadows, I took a step back in fear. I couldn't see the person at all. I didn't know if they were dangerous or not.
I walked forwards so I could get a view of the person.
As I walked forwards the person stood up and went on their phone. From the light of their screen I could see there face...
It was my best friend Dessa deer, I didn't know she worked at the outpost- I haven't seen her in what seems like years.
"Dessa?!?!" I say as she looks at me with a large smile on her face.
"Soldier?!?!?!" She runs over to me and hugs me, she's really tall- she's actually probably taller then torcher, she hugged me tight and picked me up
"Hey! Put me down!" I said.
"Ugh fine!"she sighed, but still with a big smile on her face.
"What are you doing here soldier?"
"I work here-"
She looked at me with excitement.
"I had no idea you worked here too! I just started and I already love it here!"
"I'm so glad you like it here!" I said as she patted me on the head.
"Well I'm going to go to my room now! I'm really tired! I hope I see you around soldier!"
"Bye dessa!" I said as she walked away.
I was about to go to my room and try to sleep, but then I heard a noise.
I went to see where the noise came from.
I looked behind a wall and saw torcher, he was sitting in the dark green grass, staring at the moon.
'I guess he does that alot' I thought.
His mask was off and I could see almost every feature of his face in the moonlight.
His fur slightly moving as a small gust of wind went by. There were small fireflies around him, he looked so dreamy I got distracted by his beauty and forgot what I was doing.
I look down at the ground, I wanted to be beside him and look at the moon with him, I wanted to be close to him but I didn't dare get any closer then i already was, if i was any closer he would notice me and i don't know how he would react.
I looked at him again only to find that he had noticed me and was now staring at me, he looked calm but scared. I panicked, I was probably going to get in trouble for watching him and not being in my room. He... smiled? I was confused, I thought that he would be mad but he just smiled. He moved his hand signalling me to come over, I slowly walked over to him, once I got beside him he grabbed my arm and dragged me onto the ground. I was now beside Torcher, I was sitting with him like i wanted.
"The moon is beautiful tonight" he said as he gently put his hand on mine.
"i-it is Beautiful" I stuttered. He giggled and smiled, I looked at him in the eyes and he did the same.
Our faces slowly inched towards each other, eventually our lips touched. We kissed for about a minute and then we stopped.
"You should go back to your room and sleep, I wouldn't want you to be grumpy tomorrow" torcher said.
I nodded my head and went back to my room, I closed the door and fell in my bed, my heart was racing and my face was red.
