Background: When Golin and Leila were only children their house caught fire and burned down, their parents and older brother with it. Some friends took 11 year old Leila in while 14 year old Golin took an apprenticeship at the blacksmith's shop. At 18 Golin joined the army, having recieved training by Master Acosta (the blacksmith) he rose quickly until he had command of his own small scouting unit. Leila was being trained as a young lady but preferred life in the forests, training herself with her twin blades that she had saved for and bought secretly. Now at 19 Leila has tried time and again to convince her brother to let her join his unit, but is met with constant refusal. But that doesn't stop her from constantly following or going ahead on his scouting trips or going on her own. Their parents names were John and Selena, and their older brother was named Hendon.
