It was summer of 1992 on may 25 it was storming out,Eddie was up in His room listening to the rain and thunder..when all the sudden he hears what sounded like pebbles hitting his window...he goes over to the window to see richie soaked. He opens the window..
"richie why the fuck are you out..when it's storming?"eddie asked
"I-...idk"richie chuckled nervously.. "I-I guess I just wanted to say hi before I went to see your mom" richie winks
But the reason he really went over was to tell Eddie how he felt but he was to scared..
"Ugh..just come inside before you get sick" Eddie says then rolls his eyes.
"Ok ok" richie says then climbs through the window
"Thanks eds..."richie says
"Yeah no problem.."Eddie replies
"Soooo how's your mom?" Richie asked them winked and laughed a bit
"Oh my fucking god richie"Eddie facepalms
"Whattttt I just want to know how my future wife is"richie laughs
"Will you keep it down my mom will hear you!"eddie kind of snaps
"O-oh sorry.."richie says
Eddie feels bad for snapping at him. "N-no I'm sorry I didn't mean to snap.."Eddie replies
"Well uhm....are you going to the summer dance thing tomorrow?..."richie asks nervously
"Idk..maybe"Eddie shrugs his shoulders
Richie wants to ask Eddie out to the dance but he is to scared to....there's a moment of awkward silence. "Well it just got awkward"richie chuckles nervously.
"Yeah..I guess"Eddie walks over to his bed and sits down
"I...I don't think I'm gonna go to the dance tomorrow.."Eddie states
"And why's that?"richie asked a bit confused because Eddie always goes to the dance. In fact that's where they first meet about 4 years ago
There's another period of awkward silence "hey eds...remember when we first meet at the dance?.."richie smiles a bit and sits next to Eddie
"Yeah of course I do..how could I forget..that was like the best day of my life"he looks into Richie's eyes and smiles a bit
Richie smiles and asks "really?.."
"Yeah!..your my best friend"Eddie smiles more
Richie's cheeks rose up a bit "yeah yeah well my favorite day was when I got with your mother"richie winks at Eddie and laughs a bit
"Haha very funny trash-mouth"Eddie says sarcastically and rolls his eyes
(Flash back)
(Eddie is sitting down alone listening to the music playing and just watching people dance and have fun wishing he could have someone to do that with or even just a friend..a couple mins pass and a boy with glasses and a Hawaiian shirt comes up to him "hey!you look lonely so I decide to come say hi"the boy smiles a bit
"O-oh hi"Eddie smiles a bit still feeling sad
"So,what's your name"the boy asks as he sits down next to Eddie
"Oh I'm eddie...Eddie kaspbrak"he smiles a bit
"Nice to meet you...I'm gonna call you Ed's so,nice to meet you Ed's!I'm richie...richie tozier!"richie smiles
Eddie also smiles and couple minutes pass and the boys are eating and making jokes laughing together eddie wishes this moment would never end but it sadly has to since the dance only lasts one more hour... "well Ed's...are we..friends?"Richie asks a bit scared to
"YES!!!"Eddie has a big smile on his face. "I've always wanted a friend!"
Richie smiles and grabs a drink for him and Eddie,he hands one to Eddie "here"richie offers
"Thanks"
"Of course Ed's!"richie smiles
They drink,eat,make lots of jokes becoming closer,and tell each other secrets..
"Ok well this was fun but..I have to go..bye rich.."Eddie smiles a bit
"Me too..bye Ed's!"Richie also smiles)
