After a few sips, he finished the drink and went over to me, "I really like the coffee, I might just come back some more" He said and walked out the door.

I got home after a long day of work, I crashed on my soft warm sheets. The rest of the day I kept thinking about the one guy that asked me my number, and well me and my boyfriend, well ex-boyfriend
I sigh and a tear drop runs from my eyes, I was sobbing. I never expected us to end this way, maybe I should've seen it coming.
He was ignoring me for the past month.
I continue crying until my body felt heavy and I drifted to sleep.
I open my eyes, the sun shining in my face. That's weird, yesterday was pretty cloudy so I thought today would be raining.
At least today I had something to be happy about.Today I didn't have a shift, so I was free for the day.
I decided to go out for fresh air, I grab my towel and shower.
I feel the warm water hit my skin, I sigh feeling the weight in my shoulders lift.I finished showering and putting products in my hair so it would look good.
I took a dress shirt and a navy dress from my closet to wear.I pick up a short dress with a floral pattern from my closet. Since today was a bit warmer I went for something shorter. I put in knee-high socks and black platform boots.
I pick up my phone and go outside. I feel a cool breeze brush against my skin, I breathed in the air and smile, I open my phone and see if anyone texted me.
I was secretly hoping that guy texted me, but he didn't.
I walked into a book store, it's been a while since I bought a new book. I am really into reading books, especially romance, or fantasy.
I stroll across the book isles, looking for a book I'm interested in. Nothing, in particular, caught my attention.
I continue to walk when I saw a book. It had a bright pink cover and pink large text, It was by a writer I didn't recognize.
It looked interesting so I picked it up, I walked to the bookstore counter and pay for it. I went out of the store and sat on a nearby bench to read a chapter or two.
I read the first few pages and the writing style was interesting but I grew to like it. It's obvious the writer really put their heart and soul into it.
I was reading when I got a notification, I look at my phone it was an unknown number.
-Unknown-
???: hey, is this the girl from the coffee shop?
Me: Oh yeah! this is her
???: so what are you doing?
Me: I'm just on a bench idk where, hbu?
???: at home
We continue to talk and I giggle at his jokes, I said goodbye and I started walking. I don't know where, but I just start walking.
He told me his name it was "June" his name was really pretty. I told him my name too. He was really fun to talk to.
We had the same sense of humor, he was really funny and cheered me up, I forgot about my ex-boyfriend, well until now.
I sigh and giggle to myself.
I keep thinking about my relationship, sometimes I think about how he would ignore me at long periods of time, or when he would only call me if he wanted something from me.
I realize how toxic our relationship was, he was always the one that took and took. He treated our relationship as 40-60, not 50-50, he didn't think we were equals.
