Something for comfort, I don't feel too good right now.

•••The rain poured outside, Kusa glancing out the window to see the wettened world. The trees swayed, bushes danced, and people and cars passed by all too quick, and yet the world seemed so slow. So peaceful.
Kusachi really liked the rain, but to his dismay, he was not having a good day. Instead of working, he slept, only waking up for the bathroom and to eat dinner. Everyone took notice, especially Kokichi. He knocked on Kusa's door.
"Who is it?"
"It's me, crackerjack! Can I come in?" Kokichi cheerfully asked, Kusa slowly opening the door for him. He had a miserable expression, eyes darkened and a frown plastered on his face.
"Woah, you sure don't look so hot today Kusa. Not as hot as usual, neehee!"
"What do you want?" Kusa replied monotone, irritation lacing his words.
"Aw, don't be so mean! I just wanted to cheer you up a little..." Kokichi held a fake sad expression, only making Kusa a bit more angry.
"I wanna be left alone right now." Kusa went to close the door, not before Kokichi placed his foot to stop it.
"Woah, you're pretty strong! You almost crushed my foot, Kusa!"
"Seriously, leave me alone."
"Nope! No can do! I'm going to stay with you!" He had a determined look on his face, one that Kusa couldn't reject anymore. "Fine, only for a little bit."
"Yayyy!" Kokichi slipped inside Kusa's room, taking a look around. "I like the looks of this place, you did a nice job."
Kusa went over to sit on his bed, looking out the window once more. He had no shoes on, wore sweatpants and his signature white hoodie. Chances are he wore his binder, too.
"Have you taken a break?"
"I've been taking a break all day."
"That's not what I meant, Kusa."
He then realized what Kokichi was talking about. "...I took a break an hour ago.
"Why are you even wearing it? Nobody's going to see you. Nobody other than me."
"And myself, Kokichi. I don't like seeing it." Kusa avoided all eye contact, his eyebrows furrowed at his last statement, before relaxing again.
Kokichi took a seat next to Kusa, him scooting away to give him space. "Ah ah ah, I wanna be near you, Kusa." Kokichi scooted closer, Kusa recoiling and holding his legs closer to his chest. Kokichi then put an arm around him, patting his back and coming even closer. After a while, Kokichi thought he was comfortable enough to get closer.
He motioned for Kusa to relax, he let his legs hang off his bed. Kokichi reached up and held Kusa's face in his hands, cupping his cheeks.
"Do you wanna tell me what's wrong, yin-yang? If not, that's alright. We can just stay here, together."
Kusa started to tear up just thinking about something, anything bad. He just felt awful for no reason, but now that he took a moment to think, there was one fear he had. He let himself break down in Kokichi's hold, being held close to his chest.
"It's alright, Kusa. Cry all you want. I'm here for you."
"I...Don't wanna lose you..." Kusa sniffled mid sentence, hiccuping as soon as the words escaped his mouth.
"Lose me? Who said I was going anywhere?" Kusa's lips trembled.
"I'm just...Scared. What if something happens and you leave? What if you never come back?
Kokichi sighed. He held Kusa's face once more, making him make eye contact. "Listen, nothing's going to happen. None of that is going to happen, ever. I can guarantee that.I would never leave you, one way or another. And try not to think of things like that. You'll spend all your time worrying instead of enjoying it with me, and everyone else. Those types of thoughts will only bring you down, okay?"
Kusa nodded, Kokichi bringing his face close to kiss him on the forehead.
"I'm a little...Sleepy..."
"Take off your binder, and then we can cuddle."
"Alright. Thank you."
