Lee's P.O.V

"Your and elemental," he said.

"Excuse me?"

"Your job to believe it or to not," he said walking away. "Hey," A strange voice said. I jumped. "Don't be afraid," It said. I followed the voice and it led to the wall on my right. There was a man in a lab coat. He looked about forty. He was looking through a large crack in the wall. "I am Dr. Cruise, I made you who you are," He said. "What a pleasant introduction," I said rolling my eyes. "Don't get all fiery," He said with a smile. "Get it, fiery," He said smiling bigger and bigger. "No.....," I said shaking my head slowly.

There was a sudden, CRASH. "Come on stupid blonde," The burly man said walking in with a girl. "Oh, go fry your ear in a curling iron!" She screamed. "Shut up!" He said throwing her into a cell in front of me painted white. "So, how ya doin'," Dr.Cruise said, smiling. The girl gave him a death glare. "Do you know why I am here, creepy lab dude called Dr. Cruise," I said. "Oh, yes very much!" "Well," I said. "Both of you are speci-," He started, but soon interrupted by blondie, "Shut up," She said. "Oh, Alyssa, don't be such a drama queen!" I said.

"I am not!" She screamed, crossing her arms and stomping. "Anyways, You were both part of an experiment. You were both injected with elemental liquids in you ankle," He started, "And when you are with someone, who is known as your "mate" they will glow and will also hurt. You, Rosc- I mean Lee, were injected with fire, and you Alyssa, Air," He continued, "There are two more of you with earth and water," He finished.

*Flashback*

Then, I felt a sharp pain in my ankle. I saw a mark on the side that glowed. It was almost blinding. It hurt so bad. "Ugh!!!!" I kept repeating. The girl looked at me like I was crazy.

*Flashback End*

"You sure you're not drunk, sir?" Alyssa asked. "I am certainly not!" Dr. Cruise said. "Surprised," She said looking away. "So, your trying to tell me that we are some wort of magical being that can control the elements?" I asked. "That was pretty much the point," Dr. Cruise said. "What a day," I say, eyes widening.

Carter's P.O.V

I sat on my bed, watching T.V. while my cat hissed at the wall. "Cartey! Cartey!" A high voice shouted running down the stairs. "What, Cassie," I scolded at her. "Can you play dollies with me!" She said poking out her pink lips and swaying side to side. "Not right now, Russel Wilson is about to make a touchdown," I said. "Wooh!" I screamed watching Wilson score the touchdown I predicted. "Please!" She whined. I watched her blonde hair tilt as she tilted her head. Her brown eyes sparkled. "Fine," I said. 'What did I get myself into' I told myself.

After Barbie saved Unicornlandia, and Cinderella found a snake in her carriage, I went to the kitchen for dinner.

"How was school, did you make any friends?" My mom asked. My mom really wanted to me to be popular and athletic like her. I only watch football, I don't play it. My mom was the captain of the cheerleading team and the smartest kid in middle school. "Good, but no," I answered sadly. "Oh honey, why don't you just talk to other kids? Break out of that shell!" My mom said sitting in front of me at the table.

I ate my supper, "I am fine alone," I answered, mouth stuffed. "Hon, at least one friend would do you good!" She answered, giving me an encouraging smile. "I AM FINE!" I yelled. "I am sorry sweetie, I will just go check on Cassandra, okay?" "Okay!" I said banging the table loudly. I probably just need fresh air.

I sat on the porch steps, my hair swinging in the fall breeze of Californa. Then, the ground started to shake, and it got stronger. As I stressed out, it got louder and more violent. Once I went inside, it died down. I went back outside, thinking about what my mom said. 'At least one friend would do you good!' Her voice rang in my head. I sobbed my heart out, I just couldnt take it. No one will accept me in there own lives.
