Bakugou was sitting on a bench in the hospital.

He just got out of a checkup he had scheduled for that day. Same old same old stuff. Checking his blood pressure, his height, how strong his quirk is.

Pretty normal stuff.

He was scrolling through social media, paying no mind to the others around him. He had that permanent scowl on his face which seemed to steer all these people away from him. He was able to keep to himself with no unneeded attention on him. Well... That was until a little boy had the misfortune of bumping into him accidentally.

Some kids were playing in the waiting room that he was in, the little boy was playing with some other little kids. For some reason no adults were keeping an eye on them so he had the misfortune of this kid bumping into him.

"Oh! Sorry Mr, I didn't mean too!" The boy said as he started to bow his head.

Bakugou quickly gripped his phone and turned his head towards the kid's direction and gave him a glare. Giving the poor boy a heart attack as he ran away with his friends and ran to his parents. Bawling his eyes out.

Bakugou rolled his eyes and paid no mind to the kid anymore and went back to what he was previously doing.

As he started scrolling through his phone again he noticed that there was something on the ground. He had a confused expression on his face, it looked to be like some sort of book. He swore that it wasn't there before. It must have fell from the seat when the kid was running earlier. He rolled his eyes and picked it up.

He examined the book, it was a small journal that was a little worn around the edges, but what caught his attention was how it didn't have a title.

"No title," he thought.

More questions ensued and so he began to go through the pages. Every single page had something written, they were filled with multiple paragraphs of endless writing.

He stopped at one of them and began to read.

"I won't be able to help people and be a hero like I wanted to. I only have a few more years to live. Having come to terms with that I decided to write in this journal in order to live with my disease. The pancreas disease I have is..."
