You stumble into the kitchen in awe. What is going on! You scan the area. "Shit" you curse to yourself. You have no idea what you're supposed to be doing, and you can already see your first customers walking through the door. You spy a handsome young man wiping down the benches and getting the first batch of fries into the deep fryer. 'I guess I've gotta ask him what I'm supposed to be doing before I get myself in trouble' you think to yourself. As you're making your way towards him, you stop. You feel a sudden connection, as if you know him from somewhere, but you can't pin it. He looks up at you and you stop, you get lost in his eyes. "um.. are you okay?" he asks
"yeah, sorry" you mutter, still standing right in front of him. You cast your gaze downward, embarrassed. "It, it's been a strange morning" you say as you sigh. "It's my first day, could you maybe, um-"
"Show you the ropes?" he interrupted. "uh, yeah, thanks" you say, looking up at him again, finally getting a good glance at his face. His eyes a dashing emerald green, pulling you into a daze. And his lopsided smile, warm and comforting.
He walks towards the back of the kitchen, and invites you over with a beckoning hand motion.
