They had gotten all the papers ready and when they had asked the green haired patient if he agreed with it all, he just nodded. It was an odd response but the doctor didn't seem to want to push him too much. As they get ready to leave, before Katsuki can climb in his car, the doctor told him something that he didn't fully understand the meaning behind, "Be gentle". Those words rang through his head the whole excruciatingly silent drive home. The blond often opened his mouth to try to make conversation with the other but as soon as he looked in the rear view mirror and saw the pure fear in his eyes, he decided to stay quiet.
As Katsuki opened the door, he noticed that the boy was following him obediently without speaking a word, almost as if he was waiting for permission to. He brushed it off and walked in, saying "make yourself at home". The greenie stayed standing in the hallway, not understanding if he had heard the blond correctly. He continued to stay immobile until his host popped his head from behind the corner. He sounded quite confused when he asked, "What are you still doing here? Do you want something to drink? Eat? Maybe change out of your hospital clothes? Or do you just want to go lie down in the guest room?" the greenette was surprised by all the choices he was allowed. In the end, still not saying anything, he nods indicating that he wanted to go rest. "Ok well uh the room is just down the hall and it's the second right. If you need something in the night, I'm sleeping just across." he explained with a soft smile. With another nod and bow, Izuku hesitantly made his way to where he'd be staying. He closed the door and slid down with his back against it. Letting out a long sigh, he looks around the room. It was extremely plain. A set of four black walls that felt like they were suffocating him, a double bed put in the middle of the nearly empty space, a large closet twice the size of him and two small windows with, also, black curtains. Though this might seem like a rather bleak and horrible room for most, Izuku had never seen better. Without hesitation this time, he runs to the bed and jumps on it, bouncing a bit as he landed. It was so soft, almost sinking him in. He had never been in such a comfortable mattress but he was loving it. His eyes closed, letting the warmth of the bed consume him and soon enough, he was fast asleep. Completely forgetting of the fears he had earlier.

On Katsuki's end, it was a little less "stress-free". He was currently on a call with Denki, explaining to him his whole situation and thus, the reason why he wasn't at work. "Jeez man, you're in quite the situation aren't ya" he laughed out. "I have no clue what to do!! Should I just leave him alone? Just make him food, change his bandages and that's it? Or do I try to be friends with him? What do I doooo" he was unsure for once in his life and it was driving him mad. One part of him was telling him to stay away from the guy, he could be a mass murderer for all he knows. But the other wanted to get closer to him, get to know him. He was stuck. "Dude, he really doesn't seem to be a bad guy so I say, if you really want to be friends with him, go ahead. He seems to have gone through quite a bit and could maybe use a friend. Just be nice and see what happens. You never know, he could be a great guy. Ooorr the next guy you sleep with~" the electric blond said jokingly. "You know, you nearly sounded smart there, Dunce, until you ruined it. But thanks for the advice, I'll try it out." Katsuki says with a chuckle. They spoke for a little longer until Denki had to go work. The blond sits on his couch, thinking about what he had just been told. The guy did seem nice, and he did want to be friends with him. And he was going to try his best for the other to want to be friends with him too!

Katsuki jumps up from the couch and goes to the kitchen, deciding that he'd start by giving the greenie some food, that'll be a good first impression. This was going to be the best tuna sandwich he'd ever tasted! Soon enough, the sandwich was ready and he began to walk with pride down the hall. "Oh this is going to win me so many friendship points" Bakugou mumbles to himself excitedly. He gets to the door with the plate in hand, knocks confidently and waits.
And waits. And waits. And waits... no one came to the door. Should I knock again? he asked himself. And so he does. But once again, no one answered. His shoulders sagged and his eyes watched the floor as he dragged his feet to the other end of the hall, back to the kitchen where he gently laid the plate down on the counter.

No friendship points obtained...
