Chapter 9: The ball

(Alyssa's P.O.V)

We walked into the palace. i held on to harry's arm tightly. We entered the main Ball room and i couldnt help but gasp in awe. The entire place was decorated in white and green. a most elegant affair. Niall walked down ahead of us now. He wandered off over by the drinks where some girl started talking to him. Harry led me through the party. he wanted me to say hello to his parents. We made our way to their places by the thrones. Harrys tapped on his dad's shoulder. "dad, mum" he said. they turned and as their eyes fell on me perrie gasped and zayns eyes grew wide. "impossible" Zayn muttered. i curtsied "its a pleasure to see you again" i said to them. Perries smile was as big as the moon.zayn continued to look at me. "dad? may i talk to you for a moment?" harry asked Zayn nod and led him out to the balcony. Perrie held my hand "im so happy to see your alive. Harry has done nothing but try to find you." she said. i noticed something about her. it seemed almost sinister. I smiled and said " i know. im glad he did. if youll excuse me for a moment." i walked off and ran to where niall was talking to the same girl. "Niall!" i said he jumped and looked at me with a smile. "this is ellie" he said gesturing to the girl "yeah hi" i said in a rush "Niall somthing is wrong. Queen perrie isnt perrie!" he looked at me. "how can you tell?" he asked. "her eyes. theres almost something sinister." His eyes grew big. "sophia's been missing since Liam came back. somthing must have happened. i felt a tap on my shoulder. i jumped and turned to see Harry. "you scared me." i said. "is everything ok?" he asked.I nod no "your mother isnt your mother." i told him. "what do you mean?" he asked. i explained what happened and his eyes bugged. "if sophia has been acting as my mother were is my mum?" he asked worriedly. "i dont know. "  A bright light flashed next to us. i looked over and Niall was glowing a bit. He smiled. Ellie looked at him like what just happened? i was confused. Niall whispered in my ear. " my spell is broken now go break yours." he smiled. i smiled back and held harry close. we left Niall alone with ellie. Harry pulled me through the crowd to the thrones were zayn was sitting on his. Perrie not to be seen. "Dad, " he said zayn looked at him "its time." he smiled. zayn smiled back and stood up. "Excuse me everyone! may i have your attention?" Everyone stopped and looked at him. "my son wishes to make an annoucement." Harry blushed. and he stepped up. "For a long time i lost someone i truly loved. and now thta i have found her i dont plan on letting her go." he looked at me. " I love you Alyssa. I always have and always will." with that he pulled me closed and kissed me . I felt a warmth spreading through my body. Harry smiled and covered his eyes. there was another burst of light and just like that, my curse was over. The crowd applauded and cheered. "im not done yet," harry announced. then he got on one knee and presented me with a ring. "will you marry me?" he asked i smiled and said "Yes! Of course i will!" ihe came up and i jumped into his arms. This moment was perfect. He slipped the ring on my finger. Niall gave a thumbs up. Just then the chandelier lost its power. the lights dimmed and flickered. Perrie appeared in the crowd. Her sinister smile once again showing as she cackled. she jump up into the air where she floated. "You FOOLS!" she shouted "You think that everything was going to be fine? HA! well youve got another things coming." she transformed in the air. her features changing . blonde hair turned brown, features became more prominent. then the next thing we knew it wasnt perrie. It was sophia. posing as perrie. "WHERES MY WIFE?" zayn shouted. sophia laughed "Hidden away just like you all will be. for my husband and i will rule not only this kingdom but EVERY KINGDOM IN THE REGION!" The doors to the hallway burst open, and in walked Liam. he spotted me behind harrys. he laughed. "well youve been a naughty girl havent you?" He nod to perrie who swooped down and picked me up. "NO!" Harry shouted. Liam howled. "No more mister nice guy."
