One day, in just one day praimfaya would hit, and everybody in the bunker was on edge. Lexa and Clarke were in a meeting with Abby, Kane and Indra. In the meantime, Octavia and Lincoln sat on their bed in silence.
“Lincoln” Octavia whispered, breaking the silence. Lincoln hummed.
“Are you scared?” Lincoln opened his eyes and tightened his arm around the young skygirl.
“I am, are you” he asked gently, looking down at the girl.
“I am too” Octavia whispered, her voice almost breaking.
“It’s okay to be scared, this is something that scares everyone, it doesn’t make you weak, it makes you human.” Said Lincoln as Octavia sat straight on the bed and looked at Lincoln with barely concealed fear.
“I love you.” Lincoln smiled.
“I love you too” Octavia leaned forward and connected their lips.
Meanwhile, in another room
“Raven would you stop pacing?” asked Luna, who watched Raven’s every move.
“I can’t, I’m too anxious to stop” Raven sighed as she kept pacing the room. Luna looked up and sighed, Raven was too stubborn.
“Walking that much can’t be good for your leg” said Luna, trying to get the other woman to stop and sit on the leg or in a chair so her leg could rest. Raven was about to snap at the grounder girl, telling her that she was fine, when suddenly, she felt a terrible pain in her leg.
“Damn it!” shouted the young mechanic, Luna immediately got up and guided Raven to the bed and sat her down.
“I told you” Luna murmured, kneeling in front of Raven as she rubbed her injured leg.
“Shut up” shot Raven back, though there wasn’t any venom in it. A few minutes passed by, and the pain lessened, ‘till it almost went away. Luna sat beside her.
“Thank you” Raven whispered, and Luna smiled at her.
“Anytime” The Floukru leader watched as Raven sighed deeply and frowned.
“Are you alright” asked Luna worried about the girl next to her. Raven didn’t answer straight away, first she took the other girl’s hands in her own.
“It’s tomorrow” Luna didn’t need to ask, she knew what it was about, how could she not? She took her hand from Raven to wrap her arm around the mechanic’s shoulders, while the other hand remained where it was.
“It will be alright, I promise” They both knew that it would take a long time to get back to normal, or the new version of normal, but they knew that as long as they had each other and their friends, they will get through this.
