Tattooed Flowers (kagehina au)

The meeting

Kageyama POV.

Beep beep! Ugh. I roll over and turn my alarm clock off and get up and ready for work. I work at the local flower shop now because the cafe I worked at shut down. I'd rather be handing out coffee than flowers but it's not too terrible. My boss and I go way back to high school so he offered me the job immediately honestly he's like a big brother to me I don't know what I would do without Suga. At the moment me and Suga are currently roommates. He had to head out a bit earlier to help his boyfriend Daichi finish setting up the tattoo shop they where opening across the street. I finish getting dressed and grab a carton of milk for breakfast and leave making sure to lock up. I begin my 7 minute walk to work and listen to music on the way through my earbuds just as I do every morning.

-time skip to work-

I open the door and the bell rings that's on the door to let us know when a costumer is here. I walk in to find Suga and Daichi looking for a flower arrangement that would be good for Daichis work station at the shop. Daichi is pretty covered in tattoos. He has a huge crow on his back and sleeves on both arms. Suga has a flower on his right wrist that Daichi did for him for free when Suga told him he wanted a tattoo. They really where the perfect couple honestly I've been waiting 3 years for one of them to pop the question I'm sure Daichi is planning to soon. Getting so lost in my thoughts I failed to notice a short orange hair boy standing at the other end of the shop looking at the Lilly's. He has a lot of Geometric tattoos covering his arms and a big one on his shoulder. The tank top he was wearing was really revealing so I could even see the top of the wings on his back. I blushed a bit. Not even seeing his face yet and already thinking he was hot. I covered my face and went to start opening up shop as usual. A few minutes later Suga and Daichi left but the short orange boy wasn't following them. He must be looking for something then. I sighed and got up from the stool behind the counter and went to find him. "Hello, are you looking for something in particular?" I say walking up next to him. "Oh hello!" He says as he turns around to look at me with a bright smile. I blush a bit and avert my eyes from his bright smile. "I actually am looking for something.." he says looking back at the flowers. "Well what do you have in mind?" I ask wanting this to get over with quickly before I explode. "What would you get for someone you want to get to know? Kinda like a hello! I think we should be friends type flower" he said still looking at the flowers. "Hmm. I think I have one." I walk to the other corner of the store and pick up a simple tiger Lilly. "How's this?" I ask showing him the flower. "Perfect!" He said with an even brighter smile. How is that even possible?? I walk him over to the register and he pays for the flower. "Do we have a name for the card?" I ask with a pen in my hand ready to write a name. He simply put his elbow on the counter looked at me with a smug expression and said "I don't know, what's your name?" My face went red yet again and i muttered "Kageyama" still trying to avoid eye contact. "Well then Kageyama would you like to stop by the shop later when your on your break? Im allowed to have visitors while I'm at work so you can drop in anytime. And I get off at 5 today so maybe after we can go get dinner?" He said getting a bit nervous and shy. Really after all that confidence now your getting shy?? It was cute though. " I can stop by at 11:30 and we can plan something for tonight then?" I ask not as quiet as before so I wouldn't have to repeat myself. "Great! See you then Kageyama!" He said as he started to skip out of the shop and then right after he left he opened the door again to say "Oh! Almost forgot! I'm Hinata! And I figured you assumed but I wanted to make sure you knew I work at the tattoo shop across the street! Cant wait till 11!" He shouted and then ran waving as he sped to the shop. I calm myself down a bit and the first customer of the day comes in so I get to work.

Hinatas POV.

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD! I did it! And Daichi is gonna kill me for being 20 minutes late on opening day! I run into the store expecting to be scolded instead being treated with a smile. "Hinata I'm glad you and Kageyama are getting along, Suga said he doesn't make much friends so I'm greatful. Just let's keep it to only 10-15 minutes late preferably." He said in a calm yet happy tone as he went to start talking to his client in his office. Wow that went well. I thought to myself as I opened my office door on the left and began to prepare for my client Nishinoya. Me and him have been friends since high school and he wanted to be my first client in an official shop so he was gonna be here any minute. I got our favorite playlist playing and got to work on preparations. I can't wait till 11:30 it's only a few hours away. Noya walks in and we get right to work.
