Hello! First things first, this story is not mine. All the credits goes for @larrysmiling. This is one of the best stories that I've ever read, so I asked her permission to translate, because it's a masterpiece and everyone should read it too. The original story is in Portuguese, and you can check in her profile if you want to ;)

October 2014, St Mary's Hospital, London.

- Harry, do you know where you are? - therapist Angie asked, with calm voice and eyes transmitting confidence, while I was transferring all of my weight from one leg to the other.

Harry spent some time thinking, with tired eyes and messy hair, looking uncomfortable with all the attention.

- In London. - His deep voice was heard after thinking for almost a minute.

- That's right, darling. And do you know in what year we are in?

- 2010?

We met in 2010, four years ago. He had just completed 18, and I had completed 18 some months earlier. It's alright, it's not that bad that he don't remember the year we are in, Louis, this is just an effect of the accident... A passanger effect.

- What's your mom's name, Harry? - Doctor Angie asked again, not looking shaken by Harry's wrong answer, or at least not as much as me.

- Anne Cox. - He answered quickly, remembering with perfection the information, and looking weirdly at me when I left a sigh. I shrank a little more on the end of the room and Anne looked at me with a sad smile, sitting on a chair on the side of her son, trying her best to smile even after seeing the look with no expression on Harry's face.

- And what's your stepdad's name? Do you know that you have a stepdad, am I right? - Angie asked again, with the tone of her voice even more confident and cheerful.

- Robin. - Well, he knowing Robin's name could mean anything, considering that Anne and Robin are together for a long time. Doctor Angie was willing to torture myself more and more.

- How old are you, darling?

Harry left a sigh out, tired of the interrogation, lowering his face and starting to play with his own fingers, ignoring us on a rude way.

- Harry, please collaborate, darling... - Anne asked him almost crying, her eyes imploring for answers while she tried to hold Harry's hand.

- How old are you, Harry? - Angie asked again, clearly taking care this time, looking worried too.

- Eighteen.

No, no, no, no!

Robin approached me and hugged me affectionately, trying to encorage me the same way as Anne. Harry looked at his stepdad hugging me and frowned, facing me and silently asking what I am doing. This can't be happening...

- Harry, what's your husband's name? - Angie finally asked, her voice a thousand times more cautious, and the reassuring smile leaving her faces, the same way that the blood was leaving mine.

- I don't have a husband. - This is definitely not happenning. God, please, no!

- You don't have a husband? - She asked calmly while Robin hugged me a little harder, my hands starting to shake on a visible and scary way.

- I have an ex-girlfriend, but we don't talk for a while. - God, no... Please... Please!

- What's your ex-girlfriend's name, Harry?

- Chelsea.

- Well Harry... You're married now.

- Married? - He asked loud, not believing her and looking at Anne asking for explanations, begging for answers. - I'm not married.

- Harry, think calmly... - She asked passing her hands trought her hair and trying to smile again. - What's your husband's name?

- Husband? But I never get married!

- Yes Harry, husband... - Anne was whining while tears began to descend uncontrollably trough my cheeks. This can't be happening.

- Do you remember his name? - Angie asked again after a few minutes that he ignored his mom. My head was starting to hurt and I wanted to put it down, before Harry could see his... The strange man crying because he couldn't remember that he has a husband.

- I already told you that I am not married!
