The Demon Goddess: Blood Ties

Chapter 4 - Trouble

   Stretch, Edge, Papyrus, Ink, and Error look at me in shock, and slight fear. Ink opens a portal right behind the Papyrus, Edge, and Stretch. He then told them to go through while him and Error would take care of me. They stared at me in shock for a bit, then ran through. However, I ran through right before Ink closed the portal. Once on the other side, I was met with everyone standing in the living room, looking at me confused, shocked, and slightly scared.

   "Jazz? What's wrong? Why is there smoke coming off of you?" asked Sans. *evil laugh* "I am not Jasmine. I may look like her, but I can assure you that I am not her. I am Jason, her father's former royal advisor. Now, I will make this simple, hand him over and I might let you all live" Jason said while point the tip of the sword at Vincent. "What if we say no?" Gaster asked. "Simple, I kill every single person in this room, except Vincent of course. Then I will take him, torture him and then kill him. Then I will try to figure out a way to separate myself from Jasmine so I can be with her father again" he said while grinning.

   After he was done talking, a bunch of thorny vines came up from the ground and wrapped around everyone in the room except him and Vincent. When they tried to break free, the thorns dug into them and kept them in place. Vincent tried reasoning with Jason, but that seemed to only anger him more. "Shut up! Now if you want your precious wife to still be alive, then you will listen to everything I say" Jason says. Vincent, worried about my safety, asked "How do I know you're not lying, you could be bluffing for all I know". He then held out his hand and a hologram of me popped up. I was in chains, and badly beaten, barely breathing.

   Vincent looked at me with shock, and worry. "Now, if you want her to live then you will come with me. If you try anything then she dies" said Jason. Worried for me, Vincent asks "Ok, and what if I refuse?". I then get electrocuted for a few seconds, while screaming. Then it stops, and I am breathing heavy with my head hung low. Vincent is extremely worried now. "Alright, I'll do it, just don't hurt her anymore, please" Vincent replied.

   "Good, now, let's go" Jason said. As soon as he gets ready to leave, Papyrus grabs his arm, and tries to detain him. However, as soon as Papyrus grabs his arm, Jason grabs him by the back of his shirt with his other hand, and throws him into the wall. Then walks over and is getting ready to kill him, but Vincent acts fast, and hugs him. He then says my name, trying to get me to try and take control again. I hear him, and manage to get Jason away from the control panel in my soul, that controls my body. I then told Vincent that I was fine and in control.

   Jason then took me away from the control panel and we started fighting. After a while, I managed to put him back in a cage, and lock him far away. I then immediately dropped the sword that I was holding on the floor, and carefully helped Papyrus off of the ground. I then grabbed a cloth, and wrapped it around the sword. Then I teleported to my vault, and put it there. Then I came back, and freed the others. I also apologized and we talked for the rest of the day. Little did we know, that both my father, and Megatron had already come up with another plan, and preparations were already under way.

I am so sorry that it took so long for me to update. It's just that my life has been a mess for the past few months. Covid isn't helping either. Anyway, I will try getting back to publishing at least once every week. Again, sorry for the long wait, I know I'm a slacker. Anyway, gotta go, bye!
