The Demon Goddess: Blood Ties

Chapter 3 - Flashback

Vincent shifted a little bit, I woke up with a yawn. "Good morning, did you sleep well my love?" Vincent asked as I looked up at him. "Heh, yeah. Also, do you think the others will agree with me? Cause I want to try and come up with a plan on how we're going to face my father and his demons in the future. It also doesn't help that he has made a deal or something with Megatron either. *sigh* why can't things just be normal for once? Anyway, let's go to the meeting room" I said as we got up and headed towards the room. On our way there I contacted everyone and told them to meet us there, using telepathy of course.

Once everyone arrived and situated themselves, we began discussing possible ways to deal with my father and Megatron if neccessary. "We need to contact Optimus Prime since we're dealing with Megatron as well, right?" Papyrus asked. "Right, which is why I already contacted him" I said. I then pressed a button on the table and a hologram of Optimus Prime popped up. "So what do you propose we do about Megatron Optimus?" Edge asked. "Considering the fact that he is teaming up with Hades, I should be able to handle Megatron, as long as you guys can take care of Hades that is" Optimus replied. "Ok, so what about Hades? I mean this is Hades we're talking about, he is the king of the underworld. Plus, Jasmine has fought him many times and failed. So what are we going to do?" Red asked. Edge slapped him on the back of his skull, not hard enough to injure him since he only has 10 hp, but hard enough to sting a little bit.

Everyone glared at Red for a few seconds, then they looked at me expectantly. "Well, while it's true I've never beaten him in a battle so far, that's mainly because even after everything he's done to me, he's still my father. Heh, some part of me is stupid enough to believe that he can change, pathetic I know. Anyway, even though we now have Vincent, I still don't think we can beat him. However, if we can somehow get him someplace where there's no people and immobilize him, then I can try talking to him. I will talk to him and try to change his mind about all of this. If I can't, then I will have no choice, but to kill him. As much as I don't want to, I don't know if he will listen or what he'll try to pull. If we are going to do this, then we need to wait till the right time and proceed with the utmost caution. He is unpredictable, even to me, so we'll have to be extremely careful. I know it isn't much of a plan, but if we try anything else then he will kill us. So if you all agree with me, then I believe we will survive" I said. They all looked at me and nodded in approval after hearing my plan. Optimus then said that he has a plan on how to deal with Megatron that he will discuss with the other autobots later and then he hung up.

We all went back to the living room to get on with our lives as best as we could. I was talking with Edge and Stretch when Edge said something and I froze. A memory then flashed in my mind.

*Flashback*

"How could you! I told you that he's the enemy and that if you see him to kill him!" yelled my father. Me and Vincent were atop the giant tree that rested on the border. My father had showed up with his second in command and when they got up to the top they saw me and Vincent kissing. My father was more than pissed. He was now yelling at me for kissing him. "He isn't the enemy! He hasn't even tried to kill me! He isn't as bad as you say, you say all these things about him when you don't even know him! You have no right to insult him!" I yelled. "Jasmine, he is a Nagasaki, not only that, but he's the prince! Besides what's to say that he won't try to kill you later!? Huh!? And what, you know him!?" he yelled back. "Yes actually I do! I have been sneaking off to see him every day for the past 10 years! And I love him more than you could ever know!" I yelled in response.
