It's been 5 days since they all left for Mexico. Tomorrow is my convocation ceremony and Asad is still not here, will it be too much to say that I miss him every single moment of my life. Yeah weird I know, but I do.. I want to hear his voice so bad even if it's to scold me or shout at me. But I want to hear him, see him and be close to him. He hasn't called even once after his departure. I have talked to other three members of Nawab family but not to my husband.. Who I know is quite busy in making his family comfortable there before returning back but can't he make one call, just to know if I am doing fine or not.

I was angry at him but I don't know our relationship has reached that stage where I can show my emotions towards him at all.. Whatever happened in Manali and when Mom was admit. I felt like maybe I had cracked a milestone but now seeing he didn't call me at all, I think we are back to square one. Oh!! how much I miss that Man if he only knew.. I sighed longingly..

"Okay will you stop daydreaming about Jiju.." Humaira snatched the book from my hand and glare at me, okay if this missy is forgetting I am the older sister here, so she doesn't get to be all bossy on me, that's my job for sure.. "Give that back Humaira and I am not missing anyone." I said pouting and she just rolled her eyes but didn't returned my book.. This spoiled brat..

"Of course you are not.. You always look at your phone longingly and whenever it rings  you almost jump in excitement to receive it, but when you see the caller Id, All that go in drain cause it's never your husband. And for your information I must tell you that he has called Abbu regularly so it only means that just like you he is also waiting for you to call first and just like him you are also being stubborn.." She summed up in one go and sat down beside me happily munching on my cookies while I just narrowed my eyes on her stating the truth..

Whatever why should I call first, he has left his new wife behind so he should be the one calling me not the other way around.. "Well he is the one who has gone with her Ill Mother with a hope of getting a cure for her, so shouldn't you be the one checking up on him just like a good wife would.." I groaned why my sub conscious has to be this correct just like Humaira.. Yes, how dumb I am, I should have called him like I called all the other's. He need my support, he need some comfort too and here I am sitting and brawling around like a kid, instead of being an adult and taking the  matters in my own hand..

I again looked at my phone and this time Humaira picked it up for me, "Don't overthink this, you are a wife calling your husband nothing big. So stop sulking and make a call.. I am downstairs.." She placed the phone in my lap and giving me one assuring smile she left.. Fine, she is right it's not a big thing. Just a normal wife making call to her husband. Let's just get over with this..

"No first you are eating your food and then only I am letting you step out this room.." Mom pouted and I just smiled at her antics, sometimes she behave like a five year old and tend to forget that she is our Mom not our kid.. "Mom I really have to go meet with the doctor, I will eat afterwards I promise.." I tried to protest again weekly but she just narrowed her eyes at me..

"You say this every time, Asad you need to relax a bit Son.. You are just Tiring yourself out.. Everything is fine, see I have got this luxurious room in the hospital, you found a apartment for Najma and Ayaan very close to hospital and you also made her join some short course in college, so that she can pass her time.. Everything is settled, you just need to calm down.." She said frowning and I just pulled her in a hug shaking my head.. She don't have to worry about me or anyone else, it's not good for her..
