Chapter 8 - Fight Of Two Friends

So many interesting things happen in Niki's Bakery-

A man with cat ears and tail stumbled in. (No not a cat boy do not disrespect him no cat boy can compete with this man) Niki hurried to her non-human friend, Antfrost.

"Ant! Are you ok?!" She asked worriedly. Antfrost has white cat features, sense, and speed. He has light blue eyes. Antfrost has dark brown fur at the tips of his ears and tail.

Antfrost was out of breath. "Hunters.... coming... this way..... run!" He warned. Niki froze in shock and several things went through her head at once. Where can I hide Antfrost? I look human so I probably won't be harmed and I can use my powers to influence their feelings and make them go away. She looked at Antfrost in front of her who is still huffing from running fast for so long. Hunters are fast. They'll be here soon.

She quickly scrambled over to a rug on the floor and lifted it up. There's a board underneath the rug she also lifted up. It's a hidden trapdoor. (Come on everyone knows this it's the oldest trick in the book in movies and stories) Niki motioned for Antfrost to get in and he did.

Niki quickly ran over to the counter where she was meddling with flour (or something related to baking I dunno I don't bake-) just as the door slammed open. Niki continued to mix the flour as if nothing happened. She put on a content face and hummed a little, hoping her acting is good enough.

Four hunters walked into the bakery. One of them is a grade C hunter and the other three are all grade D hunters. Niki could tell because of the color of their hunter clothing.

The rankings are like this from weakest to strongest: D, C, B, A, S. The most skilled hunters are S grade while the newbies are D. D grade hunters wear yellow, C grade wears green, B grade wears blue, A grade wears red, and S grade wears purple.

For non-humans, the strongest — and most dangerous according to humans — are S grade while the weakest/youngest ones are D grade.

Antfrost, Fundy, Niki, Tommy, and Wilbur all count as grade D non-humans since they are generally pretty harmless and have weak powers compared to other non-humans. Eret, Ranboo, Tubbo, etc are grade C. Grade B non-humans include Philza and other hostile mob hybrids. Grade A consists of non-humans like Sapnap and elemental controllers. Then finally, grade S contains BBH, Technoblade, and many others like VoidWalkers, Wither hybrids, and Dragon hybrids.

Techno's species are actually grade D non-humans, but because of his skills, he is a grade S. Just wanted to make that clear.

"Hello! How may I help you? Would you like to buy anything?" Niki put on a fake smile for her "customers."

"We are hunters here to find a non-human who had escaped this way." A hunter replied. "Have you seen a cat hybrid around here by any chance, miss?"

Niki gritted her teeth. She hates how polite hunters act in front of other humans but becomes violent as soon as they meet a non-human. Even worse, the humans are actually fine with it. They are happy that the hunters protect them from "dangerous" non-humans.

Even so, Niki put on a worried expression. "Oh no! There's a non-human around here? Are you sure it's safe for me?" She asked "nervously."

The hunter replied, "Don't worry, we'll take care of it." Niki internally glared at them. It?! Antfrost is a HE!

"Thank you, sirs and madam!"Niki smiled a little at the hunters as she offered them some bread. The hunters declined and went off to go hunt for Antfrost. Her acting must have been on point because the hunters left her bakery with no suspicious looks.

Niki waited until the hunters were far from her bakery. She lifted up the rug and opened the trapdoor. Antfrost got out.

"Thanks, Nihachu." He said gratefully to Niki.
