It's my first day at Ackley Bridge since moving from Bristol. Not that I'd let anyone see of course, but I'm really nervous; must be something about moving hours away from my friends and the town I've spent most of my life in I suppose. I scoff to myself.
To be honest I still haven't quite forgiven mum for moving me all the way over here, and for what. I have no clue why this place but mum reckons it's a new start, I suppose I'm doing it for her more than myself.
It's always been us, me and her since I could remember really. My dad.. well I don't know much about him, all I know is as soon as mum got pregnant with me, he left. I don't think I'd want anything to do with him to be honest. From what my family have said, he wasn't the best person to be around either.

Anyway, it's my first day at my new school tomorrow. If I said I wasn't excited, I'd be lying. Although all this moving around stuff has been hard, I can't wait to start fresh and see what the days to come have in store.
I began to unpack my bags and start to organise my new room. It was only small, but i liked it. I lied out my uniform for tomorrow and piled up all my new books. After a few hours of tidying, I decided to call it a day and get some rest for tomorrow.
