part twelve

It was now the Saturday after the rugby game and celebration at the Wilson's afterwards. There was quite a lot that happened now that I think of it:

- We all found out Hayley and Riz are official, much to Missy's disapproval at first. I'm sure she will come around though.
- Razia got way past drunk and Mrs Paracha wasn't impressed to say the least.
- Naz told me and Missy she has a thing for Sam, which was very obvious without her even having to tell us.

Now everyone is revising like mad for the first exam which is on Monday.

The sunlight between my bedroom curtains woke me up and I unlocked my phone to check my socials. Missy had posted a picture of us all from the other night:

After commenting on Missy's post, I decided it was time I should get up. I got straight in the shower, then dressed in some comfy clothes:

I made my way downstairs, while brushing my dripping wet hair.
"Morning mum."

"Hiya love, you want anything to eat?"

"I'll have some toast please." I smiled.

"You got any plans today?"she asked.

"Not really. I'm probably going to meet up with the girls and do a bit of revision."

"Alright, sounds fun!" She replied, handing me my breakfast. "You not seeing that boy you're always with today then?" She pressed with a slight smirk.

I didn't think she knew about Jordan. Oh god. I can't just tell her like this. Yea mum I actually do have a boyfriend, he's an ex drug runner- that'll go down a treat. Don't be stupid. Just do it. She'll be fine with it. Right?!

"Oh. Er- I think you mean Jordan, my boyfriend.. I'm not seeing him today I don't think." I said extremely awkwardly. Me and mum have never really talked about that kind of stuff before. There was a pause of silence before she answered.

"Oh love, I think it's great you've found someone you like. Just as long as you're happy."

It was now about 12:30 and I've been watching Netflix in my room for a few hours.

I finished the episode I was watching and put some light makeup on. I decided to stay in the clothes I was in because I couldn't really be bothered to get changed and it was only Naz and Missy anyway. I grabbed my phone, keys and bag before letting mum know i'd be back in a few hours. I put in my headphones and began to walk over to Missy's.

"Hiya." Missy greeted me, sat on a chair around her dining room table.

"Oooh revision," I remarked after seeing the papers and booklets on her table.

"Yes, revision its driving me mad. There's only so much Romeo and Juliet a girl can take." she joked.

"Well, you've still got tomorrow so you don't have to do it all now. And talking a break is probably what you need." I suggested, while taking her by the hand to sit on the sofa.

"I guess you're right, I just want to do everything i can to pass these things, don't want to have to repeat the year again." she said, sounding rather sad

"Missy Booth, look at me. You are going to do fine and we both know it. Right, come on we're going into town to get some things for a girls night."

"I'll go get changed." Missy said from halfway up the stairs.

We went to get Naz to come join us before heading into town on a bus. We ended up buying matching pyjamas and fluffy socks along with some face masks and snacks for the night ahead.

"Who's house we gonna go back to then?" Missy asked.

"We can go to mine if you want, mums out working."

"Alright, sounds good." Naz replied.

After the rest of the bus journey home, we arrived at my house.
We got changed into our pyjamas and took a few pictures before taking off our makeup and putting on face masks.

"So, Naz how's it goin with sammm." Missy sung, laughing.

"Really good actually, I like her a lot. She seems to like me n'all which is good. What about you Ava, Jordan treatin' you well." She smiled.

"Yeah, he's amazing to be honest. So different to what people make him out to be as well."

"Look at yous two, ey. Both head over heels and look at me, lonely as ever." Missy sighed.

"You'll find someone Missy, leave it to us hey." I smirked, looking towards Naz.
