Chapter 4- Two Years Later

Candy's Pov

I miss him... I thought sadly, thinking about a certain someone in my past (as I emptied my boxes in my new room in the house Mikey and I have been saving for for the past two years). Patty, Patty Walters. It's been two years now since I last saw that adorable smile of his. Today is the anniversary of the day we hung out together.

I smiled at the memories then felt blood rush to my cheeks.

God damn it why can I get that kiss out of my head?!

I decided to clear my head and turn in some music. I played the CD Patty made for me. It had all of his covers and As It Is songs and a few I asked him to do for me. The music played loudly throughout the house and I'm pretty sure the neighbors aren't going to like me.

I need to stop thinking about Patty Walters. He probably doesn't even know who I am anymore.

Patty's Pov

I heard loud music playing next door. It was right beside of my room. I peeked through the blinds and watched as well as listened.

Is that me...?

I listen more carefully and heard 'Game Over' by Falling in Reverse. I saw a girl but she wouldn't stop moving long enough for get a good look at her. There was only one person who that had that CD.

I opened my window and tossed skittles at the glass a cross from me to get the girl's attention.

She opened her window and looked really pissed, but she froze. I froze when we locked eyes.

We slowly said each other's names in unison and in shock. After a minute or two we just smiled and laughed. The way we reacted to each other reminded me of the Lion King when Simba and Nala were reunited as well.

"What are you doing here?" We asked each other. As she spoke I could tell her accent had changed.

"Wait hang on. I'll be right back." Then I ran out of my house and beat on Candy's door. I could hear her feet thundering down her staircase. The door swung open seconds later and a very excited Candy jumped into my arms, hugging me tightly.

"Oh my gosh look at you." I said hugging her back just as tight. "I've missed you so much. What happened why did you stop talking to me?"

Candy froze and her grip losened. "I'm really really sorry, Patty. I didn't want to stop talking to you. Mikey got me a new phone last year and forgot to have my contacts swithed over. Then I got signed out of Skype and forgot my username and stuff. I'm so sorry."

Some how in our tight hug, I tightened my grip around her. "Candy, don't worry about it." I said pulling back from the hug. My hands were now on her shoulders. "Now that we're neighbors we can hang out every single day!" I was overjoyed, "And in person. No more skype, no more phone calls. Come on, and you can meet my roommate!" I then took her by the hand and dragged her over to my house.

Candy shrieked a giggle, "Patty!"

I closed the door behind us. "Jason! Get your but down here and meet our new neighbor!" I called.

"Ugh..fine." Jason groaned.

Candy turned to me and asked, "Who's Jason?"

Thump

"I am." We both looked in the direction of my fluffy blue haired friend. "So, Patty, who is this model?" Jason asked. Candy turned around and gasped, "Holy cow, you're veeoneeye! Dude I love your videos." she said.

"Thanks. Now can someone answer my question?" Jason joked. I smiled and wrapped my arms around Candy's neck from behind her, my head resting on the crock of her neck. It felt really nice to hold her. "Jason, you know who this is." I smirked.

Jason came over to us. "Oh this is that Wicked girl isn't it?" He thought for a second. "uhhh...Crystal..Candance..oh! Candy! It's Candy right? You're the girl that won that radio contest that Patty was-" When I let go of Candy I slapped Jason in the stomach. In reslut Jason hunched over and coughed. "Damn it, Patty.."

Candy laughed softly and placed her hand on his back. "You okay, dude?"

"Yep, I'm fine." he huffed.

After Jason was back to his good ol' self and we hung out for a while, I saw Candy frowning. "What's wrong, August?"

The sound of that name caught her attention. She looked up at me and gave me a huge smile. "You remembered!" She said happily.

I nodded. "Of course I remember. I know you like that more than your real name."

"I've actually decided to stick with Candy." She admitted. "I'll explain later."

I nodded.

Candy stood and smiled more. "Well fellas I hate to run but I've got to go to work. I'll see ya around." Then she ran out the door before we could say bye.

"Patty, you never said she was a total hottie." Jason said, catching my attention.

I blushed madly. "Shut up, Jason. Plus, you never asked."

Jason left the living room and a few minutes later came back with a cup of tea. He leaned against the door frame and cockily asked with a smirk, "So do you think she remembers those kisses and stuff?"

I shrugged, "I don't know, but damn she was a good kisser."

Then I figured I could go to the local music store to see if the albums I ordered came in yet.
