My first day at Hyakkaou Private Academy was finally here. I am pretty nervous because I will definitely not fit in with the others. Hyakkaou Private Academy is a prestigious school where all the richest people in Japan go, and well I am not rich. I got a full scholarship to go here. I can't even dream of affording the fees for this school. Anyways, here I was standing at the gate that was to open to my new life. My new life that will hopefully get me out of my moms stupid 5 million yen debt.
For context, my mom used to be one of the top gamblers in the country. I was only a kid so I don't remember much, but she was going to gamble with Italy's top gambler. It was tough match. She lost. From then on we lost everything. Our house, our car, our money.
It was her dream for me to go to this school since she went here. Lucky for her I'm a good student, so I got in. I never wanted to go here, but she forced me to apply anyways. She was always pushing me to become a gambler just like her. Well at least it will be better than the community college I was going to go to, so I shouldn't complain.
