I'm not a regular person who gets up in the morning making coffee and that's all that wakes me up, no offense. I just try to breakthrough that tiredness in the morning.

On my way to work, I usually go to Muffin's Bakery to get some tea, she makes REALLY good tea. I'm a regular at Muffin's Bakery and usually see her in the morning.

"Morning Ol' Blue!" She said with a smile.

"Good morning Muffins." I said smiling back at her, I don't know how she does it but every time I go into the shop, I always have a genuine smile when I'm around her. Even on the roughest morning, she always is able to get me to smile.

"I already prepared your usual." She pointed to the cup with my name on it.

"Thanks. I really do appreciate it." I said taking the cup. "Have you made any new recipes to put into your recipe book?"

"I've been trying to make something with a combination of cinnamon, no luck so far."

"You'll figure it out, you always do."

"Thank you! Enjoy your tea!"

"Goodbye." I said as I left the bakery.

Getting out of my car and almost about to go into the office, I look up at the cracked Ruby Pure Heart Spire and remembered how peaceful it was protected in the cloaked dome. No monster attacks, just a small protected village, but at the same time it felt so isolated and cut off from other villages. All events have a combination of good and bad outcomes, I don't include trauma, that's different.

I run my own business here, I'm my own receptionist and pay the bills to keep this place,  not to mention that I'm the only licensed therapist in the village. I can't fail these guys. I have a help wanted poster at the window, but haven't gotten anybody yet.

I check the schedule for today with two clients. I've got Kevin in the morning and Badgerclops in the evening. Not too bad today.

I got out a notepad and reached in the filing cabinet of portfolios looking for Kevin's portfolio.

Kevin came in on time today,"Good morning Kevin, nice to see you're on time today."

"Y-yup I'm hewe today!"

"School going ok?" I asked, he's been having a lot of anxiety during school.

"Uh . . . It's ok?"

"You sure it's ok?"

"No, I have to do a pwesentation about buttewfwies in a few days." He said with his head down.

"Are you worried about the grade or presenting in front of your classmates?"

"I don't wike tawking in fwont of evewyone! They scawe me! I'm newvous that they'wl make fun of me if I mess up!"

I jotted down glossophobia on my notepad, it's speech anxiety. "Here's some advice that I got from a friend, you know when your classmates are presenting their project. What are you thinking about when you are watching, honestly?"

". . . My pwoject?"

"Mhm, now, look at your classmates perspective when you're presenting. They're probably doing the exact same thing, they're probably thinking about their project. Also, it's ok if you mess up during the presentation, everyone does it." I said with confidence.

He seemed to get it as his face lit up a bit, "I guess you awe wight!"

He gave me a small hug and left the room to go to the waiting room where his mom was.

I ripped off the paper from the notepad and put it in his portfolio on the desk, placing it back into the filing cabinet.

It was around noon and I just finished an e-mail to make sure Badgerclops is coming in today. A few minutes later he replied with, "yeah I really need to come in today". I told him, "ok I'll be here". Hope he's doing alright.
