The sunlight broke through the curtains beaming onto my face. I stretched intensely before sitting up. My head was pounding from the night before.
Bloody hell, the night before...
My eyes shot wide open thinking the moment I had with Fred. My heart began racing wondering if any of our friends knew and how Fred was feeling about it. I never expected our relationship to take this turn, but I'm very happy it did.
Most of the girls in the room were gossiping about small things that happened throughout the party. Luckily, none of it mentioned Fred and me. It was Saturday which usually means the twins and I would be going to Honeydukes to do a little shopping.
Will Fred still want me to go?
I tried my best to brush the doubting thoughts out of my mind. We've been best friends for ages, how could one moment like this change everything for us?
I stood up and walked around my bed to my chest to pull out my clothes for the day. I pulled on a pair of baggy grey sweatpants that sat at my waist, along with a cropped red and gold tye-dye t-shirt. I swear, nearly everything in my wardrobe is Gryffindor colors. I grabbed a miniature backpack with some essentials before heading down to the common room.
As I entered I noticed two red heads on the couch, George and Ron. I began wondering where Fred was as I walked over to them.
"Goodmorning boys," I smiled at them as I squeezed inbetween them on the couch.
"Goodmorning Jay," Ron smiled back.
"Yeah, goodmorning Jaybird, got anything to tell us?" a curious smirk crossed George's face.
My stomach tightened as my heart began racing. I let out a nervous chuckle before saying, "I don't believe so, why?".
"Well," George said as he leaned towards me, "Freds been quite giddy since last night and now he's rushed off to the car saying the second we see you we need to send you his way".
I felt a bit relieved knowing they hadn't found out somehow but curious as to what Fred's up to.
"Explain yourself," Ron said in a not-so-serious tone as he crossed his arms.
"You two are quite relentless," I laughed as I stood up checking that my bag was still on my back.
"What can we say?" George chuckled, "alright go on then, don't keep lover boy waiting".
We all laughed as I pushed Georges shoulder back from his comment. I waved as I walked out of the common room heading towards the car. My heart was racing wondering what was waiting for me and if anyone had any clue as to what was happening.

I crept around Hagrids hut seeing the car parked on the edge of the forest line, but no Fred in sight. I paused to look around to see if maybe he was hiding somewhere and yet again no one. I finally caved and walked up to the car looking through the driver seat window. I walked around to the passenger side and the door flung open.
Startled I jumped back a bit then walked a bit closer, "Freddie! What's going on?".
Before I could even take another breath, I was somehow yanked into the car, the door closing behind me. I looked to the driver's seat to see Fred reveal himself from underneath Harry's invisibility cloak. A bright smile grew on his face as he turned the car on.
"Fred Weasley! You scared the living hell out of me!" I punched hard enough in his arm that'd it hurt but not too much.
Rubbing his arm, Fred said, "Ow!" with a chuckle.
