- Three Days Until Ethan's Birthday -

I sat in the corner of my room where my small studio was. I was on my computer editing the video I filmed with Ethan earlier this week. It was about the recent events that had happened a month or two ago, plus our relationship status.

We had tweeted tagging each other with nothing but "💙" which fans ate up. It was sweet to see all of their replies and support. They figured it out.

A set of hard knocks came from my door. I looked up and over at it. I stood up out of my chair and walked over to the bedroom door. Opening it, stood Mark with a warm smile.

"Hey, I brought you some pasta Amy made." He said handing me a plate. I smiled.

"Tell Amy it looks great, thank you."

"I will." He paused. "What are your plans today?"

"I have a doctors appointment for them to examine my ribs and make sure everything is healing nicely. I have to pick up my prescription too. I also haven't gotten Ethan anything for his birthday yet. Why? If you or Amy need anything, I can grab it while I'm out." I offered.

"Oh, I just was curious. We pretty much have all of the party decorations but we are low on snack food. Just pick out some candy and chips, if you could."

"No problem. I'm editing right now, I have to leave in an hour for that appointment." I replied.

"Thank you." Mark unexpectedly brought me into a hug. I smiled and enjoyed his embrace. He soon left me to my lonesome self.

Today feels mellow and uneventful, even with all of the errands I have to run. Ethan is busy all day so I can't spend time with him. As I approached my desk, I set the plate of pasta on it. I slouched back into my chair and rested my head in my hand.

"This video isn't gonna edit itself." I said to myself with a sigh. I continued to cut and place segments together.

Eventually, the time came where I needed to leave for my appointment. I found the energy to leave my chair to grab my things. I gathered my wallet, keys, and my phone, along with a warm jacket. I left my room afterwards.

Walking into the living room, I saw Mark with his arm around Amy on the couch. They looked to be watching a movie. Mark must've finished his work for his new project.

"Leaving?" He asked. I nodded.

"I'll be back in about two hours if there's light traffic." I replied.

"Alright, be safe Y/N!" Amy smiled. I returned one before heading out of the front door.

I walked a little bit to my car in the driveway. I unlocked it before I reached it. Getting into the driver's seat, I adjusted my chair.

I forgot Mark had borrowed my car yesterday while his was in the shop. How does he sit like this?

I felt around my glovebox for my deodorant and perfume. I found one but my perfume was missing. That's odd. I had a duplicate that i kept in my room that went missing earlier this week. I still haven't found it. It's my main scent.

I sighed and applied what I needed to. I always get nervous for these. Hospitals and medical facilities in general are nerve racking.

- At the Hospital -

"Alright." The doctor said pulling up my x-rays that we took earlier today. "Nothing seems out of the ordinary. Your ribs seem to be accepting the replacement well. It's not rejecting it."

"That's good." I choked.

"Do you still need to rely on the prescription we gave you or are you feeling any better without it?" He asked.
