FLASH BACK—

— JUNE 5TH 1995 —

Is death scary? I don't think it is--  my mind finds it easy to comprehend.

Death.

It seems quite complex at first, but honestly. You die. You feel peace. Dying almost seems good. Or happy, a good emotion.

Happy.

Is dying sad -- Losing someone sad?

Is it really sad? Is it selfish to be sad?

 Is it really that selfish?

Would I be selfish for wanting them alive again?

Is it selfish to know they would be hurt?

IS IT SELFISH TO WANT THEM BACK?

- ELLSE MALFOY

She blinked a few times before taking her quill again, dipping it in the ink jar then scribbling on the page. She was furious, for no reason.

Today was Nana's a of death. The day she died. Nana and Ellse were close, perhaps even closer Asher and Nan.

Today was also Ellse's birthday. She was supposed to be celebrating, in fact there was a party for her in the common room she was supposed to be attending.

Beauxbatons never had parties often.

But instead, she chose to be scribbling on a piece of paper rather than attending a party.

But was it truly selfish of Ellse to want Nana back? Even though Nana would be hurt physically and mentally, was it selfish to want her back?

Ellse couldn't wrap her mind in the thought; if she wanted her back it would be selfish of her— correct?

She couldn't miss Nan.

She wouldn't.

Ellse continued to scribble on the piece of parchment, in that moment she hated the piece of parchment.
