10. Preparations.

"Who is this?" He asked in his deep grave voice.

"I....I am Rain, Rach's roommate." I replied. There was a long pause before he said, " Oh, I know you, I have heard a lot about you from Rach."

Oh god, I don't know what has she told him about me. I hope she has not embarrassed me, by saying something inappropriate about me, if she had I swear I am gonna kill her.

I sighed and rubbed my finger across my forehead and took a deep breath," I don't know what to say." I replied hesitantly, since I couldn't ask him like ,' Oh really, what your sister has told you about me, we would both laugh on my embarrassment.'

"You won't ask what has she mentioned about you? Knowing my sister I would have probably asked myself if I were you." He said in a little surprised tone.

"I know your sister, that's why I am not asking anything because I know I would be the one who will regret in the last." I said with sarcasm, I heard his chuckle from the other end.

"I didn't believe anything before but I know now that you have a beautiful voice with a great sense of humor." He said in a playful tone. Is he flirting with me? Cole Anderson is flirting with me? Really? I am suddenly feeling nervous now.

"Um..Rach is in the bathroom right now, if you don't have anything important to say to her then I will tell her to call you back." I blurted in one go.

"Actually yeah...." He didn't get to complete his sentence before the bathroom door opened, "Here" I said and handed her the phone. She gave me a confused look but I didn't say anything to her and hurried back to the kitchen, I don't know why I am reacting like this.

"Rach." I shouted from the kitchen.

"Yeah, coming." She said as she came running. I looked at her and she seemed excited about something. Thank god, they didn't fight with each other this time.

"Why are you so excited?" I asked her.

"Oh, I am so happy that I can't even control myself. Cole invited us to a party tonight and we are gonna have so much fun." She said enthusiastically and hugged me.

"Woah, what do you mean by 'we'?" I asked by pressuring on 'we'.

She sat on the chair and ate a mouthful of pancake from the plate I sat for her. "Hmm, these are so tasty  Rain, you have magic in your hands." She said as she munched on the breakfast.

"Rach, don't change the topic and answer my question." I said sternly.

She looked down and answered quietly, "you and me."

"What? Why didn't you ask me if I wanted to come with you or not?" I said with anger.

"What was there to ask? I knew you were free tonight so, I said yes to him."

"That doesn't mean I will go with you wherever you want me to?" I know I was getting rude with her but I have my reasons.

"But it's not anywhere and Not everyone gets this chance."

I huffed with anger. "Rach, look at me." She looked up at me sheepishly and I sighed. " You know who I am and I don't like this, the thing I hate the most after alcoholics is going to these pretentious parties and socialise with fake people."

"I know that but you don't have to socialise with them. You have to be there just for me, please." She pleaded.

"Rach..." I urged to her.

"Fine,  I won't ask you to go if only you will tell me the reason." She said as she crossed her arms. This is the thing which I can't tell her, noone knows this part of my life. I don't wanna go there because of my mother. I shut my eyes to keep the horrible memories away.

"Rain, I am going to London next week and I want to enjoy my time with you. Please I am pleading you." My anger dissipated on her request. How can I say no to her when she says things like this and there is also a problem, which is, there are full chances that Miles would be there too, and I don't wanna see him again because my mind was messed up for days last time when I met him.

"I can't..." She cut me off.

"Please.. please..I promise this is gonna be the last time I am asking  you to go with me somewhere."

"Rach, you said the same thing when you asked me about the Concert and see how did it turned out."

"I think we had fun, you also agreed with me then what are you talking about?" She asked with a frown.

Shit, why do I have to blurt so much? Me and my big mouth.

"No, I meant you also said that was the last time and see where we are right now."

"But this is the last time please and I am not the only one who wants you there." She said mysteriously and I scowled at her.

"What? Who?" I asked surprisingly.

"Actually, Cole also wanted to meet you. So, he asked me to bring you there with me."

"Yeah right I forgot we are besties." I said in sarcasm.

"What you don't believe me? I swear he insisted to bring you there with me." I don't know if she is telling the truth or she is just saying it because she want me there. Anyways, I don't wanna make her upset with me, when she is about to go to london.

"Fine, I will go with you but this is the last time, okay." I said with a defeated sigh.

"Thanks, I know you are the best. Now, let's get ready."

"What? It's ten in the morning Rach."

" I know but we have to go shopping to buy dresses for the party." She said with excitement.

"God please, someone save me from this girl."

"Oh, you gonna miss me the most when I will be in London."

"Nah, When you will be back, I won't even remember you." I teased her.

"Liar, liar pants on the fire."

"Miss who are you? Do I even know you?" I asked in a serious tone.

"You bitch." She said and lunged for me but I quickly ran to my room and closed the door behind me, I caught my breath due to laughing so hard.

"Open the fucking door, Rain. Noone is gonna save you from me." she said as she banged on my door and I giggled at her threat.

"Okay, okay I will go shopping with you,  if you leave me this time. Deal."
There was a long silence before she replied.

"Fine fucking deal." She said and I could hear the laughter in her voice. I am surely gonna miss this crazy girl.
