Chapter 3

Shawn's P.O.V;

I remember those eyes from anywhere, unless it was Nash, but her eyes. I fell into a deep trance when I first saw her at the airport.

"Welcome to our home." I said while my voice cracked a bit.

"You have a lovely home." The mysterious girl said.

I heard her call herself stupid repeatedly.

"Excuse me?" I said confused.

"Oh nothing. Sorry.." she said sounding down.

"Don't be sorry! Anyways, thank you, you look very nice tonight." I said scared of her response.

"Thank you." she said smiling.

Leah's P.O.V;

So mom told me that there was a kid my age across the street? 10 years old? Hmm. I already took a shower so I might as well get dressed and do my hair.

I left my room will my natural hair flowing down my back, with a skirt that has ripples in it, a Hollister shirt, & my sparkly sandles. I called it good and left.

Aurora's P.O.V;

Him. I saw my neighbor looking at me at the airport. Are you serious? Like, oh my stars. Look at his jawline. Aurora what are you doing! Your last relationship went to crap! What if he harms you like Richard did? So much is going through my mind.

I was going to compliment him on how good he looked tonight, because I mean he did. He is one fine young man. But no. I had to say how nice his house is.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid." I said repeatedly while hitting my head.

He asked me what I said. I pulled it off by saying nothing. I could tell by his eyes he knew i was lying. What if he thought I was calling him stupid. I just ruined this whole thing. He probably doesn't even think I'm pret-.

My thoughts were cut-off by him saying I looked nice tonight. Maybe I do have a chance. Maybe he will change my life.
