Meeting Him

I was walking down the hallway with my small hand in my caregivers.

Each hybrid breed had two caregivers in this home. So bunny hybrids had two caregivers, tiger hybrids had two caregivers and so on.

I had my head down low until I heard others walking down the hallway. I looked up and saw a cute tiger hybrid. He looked up as well and we made eye contact. Both of us stopped but our caregivers kept walking, dragging us with them.

I have no clue what took over but I wanted nothing more than to be friends with the beautiful tiger boy. I'll have to find him tomorrow at playtime.

Playtime

Playtime and eating is the only time when all hybrids in the home are together any other time we have our own buildings.

The caregivers are afraid that if they mixed the hybrids one the predators would hurt the prey and two that predators would go crazy during preys heat.

I spent the first ten minutes looking for the tiger I saw yesterday, but I couldn't find him anywhere I looked. I started to lose hope of finding him, until the tiger hybrid I was looking for ran right into me, I fell to the ground.

"Oh my god I am so sorry!!" He held out his hand to help me up. I hesitated at first but then he smiled at me and all the hesitation washed away as I grabbed his hand.

"Ohh you're the bunny hybrid I saw in the halls yesterday! You're cute wanna be friends?" He rambled excitedly.

A light blush dusted my cheeks.
He thinks I'm cute?  Why am I reacting like this? Plenty of people here have called me cute ,well.., but he is different. It's to much for my child brain to process!

"Hello... I'm sorry if you don't want to be friends. I'll leave now." He pouted.

"No... Wait." I squeaked.

He turned around and furrowed his eyebrows at me with confusion written on his face.

"I... I wanna b-be friends."

He smiled a big beautiful boxy smile. He hugged me tight picking me up and twirled around.

"Yaaayyyy!"

Oh my god this tiger hybrid is precious.

He finally set me down. I pouted... I really liked being held in his arms.

"I am Kim Taehyung. I am six." He said cutely while holding up six fingers.

"I am Jeon Jeongguk, I am this many," I held up four fingers and giggled.

"Can I call you Ggukie?" He asked. I only nodded.

"Ggukie come on let's go play~!" He grabbed my hand and ran effectively dragging me behind him.

We spent what was left of the playtime playing tag. It wasn't fair because he was faster than me. My little legs could only go so fast.

A bell rang meaning playtime was over and we had to separate and go inside to learn.

I looked at Taetae with big teary eyes. "I don't want to go inside, I want to stay outside with you." I cried

"It's okay bunny I will see you when we eat. Okay? And we have another playtime after. " He kissed my forehead lightly. And oh my god what did my chest just do? It felt weird but a good kind of weird...

He waved as he walked off to his breeds building. I walked to mine and went to class basically.

I couldn't even focus on what we were supposed to be learning. My mind was filled with a certain tiger.

I feel weird when I am around him... It's not a bad kind of weird but I have never ever felt like this with another person. My stomach and chest feel all tickley. My face gets hot but I'm not getting sick so I don't know why. What is happening to me?

The bell rang again knocking me out of my trance.

It's lunchtime!

I pranced off to the big lunchroom. I can't wait to see Taetae.

I frantically looked around the long tables for the already memorized tiger ears. Once he caught a glimpse of them he skipped over in that direction.

As if Tae sensed me he turned around just as I was about to reach him.

He smiled widely and I only met him today but his smile really makes me happy... He makes me happy.

Taetae opened his arms and I ran into them. He hugged me tight and twirled me around then set me down. We both walked over to an empty table in the corner and sat.

"Hey bun. How is your day going? " I didn't say a thing as I scoot as close as I could to him. He cooed and wrapped his arm around my waist keeping me close. I nuzzled up against the side of his chest.

I feel so safe in his arms.

I knew from that day forth we were going to be inseparable.

Everyday we ate lunch together, we played together and we did everything together. We got more clingy and Tae became twice as affectionate with each day that went by. When I was with him I never left his arms. He would always litter my face with kisses and say sweet words.
