(hi edgy here just letting u know i plan on wrapping this up, so sorry if you get mad at the pacing of the chapter)

It had been a few days since the whole "omg chara kissed you" fiasco. While it was pretty good for you, cause you got a good laugh out of it. Well, ever since that she has acted a little more weird around you. During the nights she would invite you to her room to do misc stuff. Such as board games, surfing the web, the works. The two of you enjoyed each other's company so what was wrong with it.

"[Y/N] IM BOOOOORED!!!"

Well, that was one way to get yourself out of your train of thought, guess it was time for you to go back to whatever your were doing. And that I guess was now hanging out with Chara. Something else that was off was the lack of Asriel being around, he was more distant with you two and it was getting weird, as a few days before he was always involved in both yours and Chara's daily antics. Either way you shrugged it off, walking up the stairs to meet up with Chara, who was sitting on the bed. Not trying to be rude, you joined her and she would promptly get up to close the door.. weird.

She went back down to sit with you, the air seemed tense and thick with tension. Or at least that's what it looked like from an outsider's perspective. It wasn't long until Chara would forcibly clear her throat, trying to think up of small talk. But something was off, she was definitely hiding something. "But what was it?", you thought, what exactly could she be so apprehensive about telling you? It was best to not use any brainpower for such a weird questio-

"So.. [Y/N], about the other day..."

Her tone was almost reluctant, or nervous. You listened on,

"I- I don't know what got into me but I wanted to apologise about when whole.. uhm-.. kissing you thing! I hope that I didn't weird you out by it! Im so sorry please forgive me!!"

It seemed genuine enough, but there really wasn't a need for all of this, she was on you chest already pleading over a simple mistake. You just shrugged, taking her into a warm embrace in which she kindly took. You two were hugging for who knows how long before she broke the silence once again, but not through words, just soft sniffling. Feeling bad you pulled her up further, it was finally time you told her your feelings. So you spoke up,

"Hey Chara."

She looked up toward you, confused, but still listening into what you were saying. You added on,

"Uhh- so, I know it's been a few short days, or more like a week at this point but.."

She stops you. She wiped the tears from her eyes as she sat infront of you, putting a finger into her lips, indicating you should probably shut up. It grows tense again, your eyes dart around the room as you feel a weight sudden hit your chest. You see that Chara is ontop of you. Both of your cheeks are red as it's clear what's about to go on, she cups your cheeks. The only thing you can think about now is how little distance her face is from yours, and the softness of her hands. And finally, the moment you were waiting for happens. She kisses you again, you freeze as you try and melt into it.   The two of you stay in this state for a few minutes, before the need of air plagues the moment. She sits there blushing, and adds,

"I love you, [Y/N]."
