This one is a bit creative and open-ended, but IDK I'm getting the feeling of people riding on a camel in the desert going, 'It's been days since we've had water...' or something.
2. Someone watching over themselves after they died. What they couldn've done differently.
This could be like someone watching their mistakes, unable to stop them, or they can try to prevent their mistakes by leaving clues for their 'alive' selves.
