<Dahyun's POV>
Should I?

Should I confess to her..?

She's my best friend, I don't want to lose her.

But my feelings are too much to handle.

*sigh*

I'm gonna do it...

•*•*•*•*•

I'm right now at the school garden, sitting on the bench near the fountain, waiting for Sana..

"Hi, Dahyunnie!" She greeted from behind.

I turned around and smiled once I saw her running towards me.

"Hey, Sana-Unnie.."

"So~ Why'd you call me here?" She asked me.

"I actually have to say something important." I said lowly with my head down.

"Oh... What is it?" Her tone changed into a curious and serious one.

"I-..."

"I like you, Sana-Unnie..." I confessed to her.

"W-What...?" She questioned me with shock.

"I said I love you." I turned to her.

"O-Oh... I'm sorry, Dahyun-ah. I thought you knew I was with Mark already, I can't feel the same way about you-"

"No, it's fine.." I said to her, trying to fight back tears ready to erupt out of my eyes.

<Third Person POV>
Dahyun ran away as fast as she could.

She didn't want it anymore...

How could she not have known that Sana was already in a relationship with Mark?!

It was all too late...

Dahyun was a coward, she confessed too late and now she's heartbroken.

She entered her class as if she wasn't just crying, sat beside Chaeyoung and took out her book she's been writing.

(A/N : I'm not aware if the following story does not exist, please correct me if I'm wrong :D)

'A Tale of Broken Hearts'

I.
I walked up to you today,
I said "hi!"
Little did I know,
You were gonna make me cry...

Dahyun seemed to have related to this poetry book, that she somehow got attached to it.

II.
Is it because of him?
Or are you just not attracted to people of the same gender?
But nonetheless,
You and I will never be one, never...

III.
Now you left me here,
All alone...
I sit here on the floor
While you reign on your throne.

Dahyun felt her glass heart into little tiny pieces, impossible to fix without being cut.

"Okay, class dismissed."

That's all Dahyun needed to hear, she dashed out of the classroom as she soon as picked up her bag. Ignoring the fact that her ex-best friend, Sana, was calling her name.

But no, she ran faster and faster. All the way back home, where she lived alone. She opened her door and locked it, closed all the curtains, turned off all the lights, and slept. She was now back in her former habitat, the depression forest.
