Seeing you walk down the aisle with your beautiful white dress. You brown, wavy hair cascading down your shoulders. Your hazel colored orbs that lured me in every time we locked eyes. Your pink and plump lips that I could kiss for days if you'd let me. But...

... those aren't for me.

I watched you get closer to me, smiling to signal a thank you for attending your wedding. I may not have come here as your groom, but I will always be here as your best friend.

You stopped and stood in front of me.

"Thank you for attending, Dahyun-ah. I know this must be hard for you." You told me sincerely.

I revealed the red rose to you and your eyes widened. But as you were about to reach for the flower, I grabbed your wrist and pulled you in for a hug. Maybe even the last hug we may ever share...

"I knew one day you'd fall for someone new." I told you with sadness taking over my body. "But if she breaks your heart like lovers do,"

I sighed, "Just know that I am waiting here... for you."

You let go of me and smiled one last time until you walked towards your real groom, Chou Tzuyu.

You said your vows to each other and now it was time for the most heartbreaking part of this ceremony, well at least in my point of view.

"You may now kiss the bride."

It hurts me to see someone else claim what used to be mine. But hey, if you're happier with her, then I'll let you go.

The wedding came to an end, I found myself sitting on the grass, looking at the sunset. Our love was like the day. The morning symbolized our bright love for each other. The afternoon showed our love that was slowly fading away. Now it was time for sunset, signaling that our love is dying. Soon, the night will come and our love will become non-existent.

"But I know I was happier with you..."
