"So who knows?" Rose asks, and I take her off the loudspeaker.
"It'll be easier if I told you who doesn't know," I say.
"Go on then," Rose whines.
"127 squad minus Haechan and Mark," I say.
"So everyone in WayV knows?"
"Yeah. Lucas told Sicheng who got tricked by Hendery so then he found out that way. Plus there was that phone conversation I had with him. Ten was really suspicious and then Sicheng ended up telling him, so naturally, Ten told YangYang who told Xiaojun. Kun ended up finding out because of the time we kidnapped that dude from the party, you know the one whose hair I accidentally pulled out?"
"Oh yeah. What happened with him?"
"He ended up confessing the next morning. He's gonna rot in jail for the rest of his life,"
"Good. He was no good. You better tell Taeyong about you and Lucas fast, you don't want him to find out for himself,"
"I know. I'm gonna tell Jinyoung now," I say, then pause.
"I need to ask my Dad for the stuff Mum left me when she died. Technically, I could've asked him back in January, but he told me to wait," I add.
"You're going to visit your Dad? Is that a good idea?"
"Rose, I've waited so long for my part of Mum's bequeath, I'm not waiting any longer,"
"I gotta go now," I add, stopping in front of the entrance to Jinyoung's secretary's office.
"Okay, bye," Rose says.
"Bye," I say, ending the call.
I'm surprised Rose never asked why I suddenly wanted the things Mum left me. The truth is, I've been thinking about building an orphanage for a while. It's only really been a dream, but I realised that I'm technically an adult now so I could build one if I wanted to. The only problem is that I don't have enough money.
I walk into Jinyoung's secretary's office and she looks up.
"Can I go in?" I ask, and she nods.
I knock on the door before entering, and Jinyoung looks up.
"Jieun? What's wrong?" he asks.
"Nothing, I just needed to tell you something," I say.
"Good, I needed to tell you something too,"
"I don't like the sound of this," I mutter to myself.
"Mum and Dad want you to come to a dinner," he says, and I groan.
"Why? Why can't they tell me themselves for once?"
"Because they're holding it because of me," Jinyoung says, and I look at him, confused.
"What?"
"Remember when I told you Mum was trying to marry me off?" he asks, and I stare at him in horror.
"You're getting married?" I yell.
"No!" he says quickly.
"Then what's the dinner for?"
Jinyoung doesn't say anything.
"Don't get annoyed..." he starts, and I shake my head.
"... but I have a girlfriend," he finishes.
"Fuck my life," I mutter.
"I actually like her, unlike the others Mum tried to set me up with!" Jinyoung says.
