You were at the store, you had a big stream later that you were really looking for and you were looking for a hat or something to wear whilst you stream, along with your normal groceries you would normally get.
You had a habit of zoning out, and you were kind of just walking around, no particular focus as you were just hoping to find a funky frog hat, and you'd probably find it and snap out of the sort of daze you were in.
Thud. You had just walked into someone, quickly panicking.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" You looked up to see who you had bumped into as they seemed pretty tall. Looking up you realised it was a man, seeing him look at you for a moment before shaking his head as if to snap out of something.
"No, don't worry, that's fine." His voice was nice, you couldn't quite lay your finger on his accent though, it was a little all over the place. Looking at his eyes, the colour was almost hazel? They were pretty nonetheless.

You awkwardly laughed, saying you were sorry one last time before walking off, having not a lot of luck in finding a frog hat like you had wanted. Eventually you settled for some hair clips, they were still pretty cute.
Whilst waiting in queue you noticed the tall man from earlier, weird. Paying and leaving, you checked your phone. Fuck. You didn't have a lot of time, being a few minutes late wouldn't hurt though.

You had packed your groceries and were now doing slightly rushed makeup. Clipping in the frog hair clips and setting your lights to green, you took a deep breath, loaded in Among Us and pressed the go live button.
Your starting soon screen was pretty cool if you thought so yourself, watching the viewers roll in as a song played in the background. Once the song had ended you swapped over to your screen, your facecam on the left.
Waving to your chat with a wide smile on your face you quickly found a picture to hide the code with. "We have a pretty big stream today chat! We're gonna be playing with Corpse, Tommy, Tubbo, Rae and some new people! I hope you guys are just as excited as I am!"
Joining the VC with the others you began to chat to them, the occasional mute to read chat or thank donos. Eventually the lobby filled, you weren't really paying attention to what they were saying before the game started.
The first round started and you were a crewmate. Muting yourself on Discord you began to talk to your chat, doing a task every now and then. You were playing it safe for now, staying away from electrical and places like that.
After a matter of minutes a dead body was reported, Techno had reported Tommy's dead body.
"Tommy dead in comms" That voice. He was the one you met in the store earlier, you were sure of it.
"Did you see anyone?" You questioned, getting a no in response, the others began to ask questions, the occasional 'It was Tommy it doesn't matter' joke being made, before you all came to the decision to skip.
After a while you had already figured out that Dream was an imposter and he had been ejected. You were currently discussing another body, there weren't many of you left alive now, it was you, Technoblade, Tubbo, 5up and James Charles.
Tubbo was sus on Technoblade, but you had been with him earlier and he could have killed you, but he didn't. You skipped again, and at this point it was you, Tubbo and Technoblade left. You voted for Tubbo, and so did Techno, even though Tubbo insisted it wasn't him.
The game ended and Technoblade was actually the imposter. You jokingly apologised to Tubbo.
"Tubbo I am so so sorry I am begging on my knees for forgiveness" He just laughed with you, before Techno got asked why he didn't kill you when he could have so many times.
"Oh no, you'd never catch me killin' her, apart from killing her with my absolute swag" You just laughed, whilst your chat started spamming 'Technosimp' and you just ignored them when they got like that, so you kind of just made a point by reading people in chat who weren't spamming.
Eventually you began to wrap up your stream, as did the others, seeing a DM on Discord from the blood god himself. Smiling as you read it, you said bye to your chat and ended. Joining the VC you grinned.
"So, you're the one I met earlier in the store?" You giggled a little, waiting on a reply.
"Yeah, that's me. I just wanted to say I really enjoyed today, and want to know if you'd wanna stream Minecraft with me sometime soon?"
"Yeah, sounds good! I need to go but we can talk about it soon! Bye!" You left the voice call, pulling a hoodie over your shirt as you put on a pair of shoes, stuffed the snacks you had bought earlier into a bag and began to walk to your friends, you had promised a girls night.
It was getting dark, and you swore you heard footprints behind you, it was really freaking you out to be honest. You called your friend, waiting for her to pick up.
"Brooke, I'm on my way, I swear theres someone following me."
"Do you want me to meet you half way?"
"Yeah, please, I'm nearly there."
You continued to walk, keeping Brooke on the line. After a few minutes seeing her figure, speeding up towards her, whilst she was clearly looking across the street.
"Y/N, you were right, there was someone following you. It was definitely a man, he looked pretty tall."
"Can we just walk? I'm really freaked out." Your speech was rushed as you looked behind you, seeing a tall figure slowly walk off. Staying as close to your friend as possible.
"By the way, is Wil gonna be there?"
"Yeah."
"Cool!"
You were approaching their house by now, and as you were watching a film you got a text from a number you didn't have saved.

The rest of the night you were paranoid. What the fuck was going on?
