Mingi and Hongjoong sat down at the table right across from Choi San and Jung Wooyoung. There's so much that Hongjoong wants to know that he doesn't even know where to begin. Hongjoong recalls what San said, that he tried to kill one of his kind. He needed to know more about that, but he didn't know how to ask. He has two professional assassins sitting before him. Offending them in any way is the last thing he wants, unlike what he did to Wooyoung.

What happened at the bar earlier was beyond Hongjoong's control. His body acted on its own accord, rendering him powerless against his own actions. What was that anyway? His mind had gone completely blank and all he felt was rage flooding his system when Wooyoung had threatened him. Looking at Wooyoung, he could see the bruise enveloped around his throat. He did that.

"So where do you want me to start?" said San, breaking him out of his thoughts.

Shaking his head he gathered his thoughts. He can't stop thinking about that other Aurora's Child. Fuck it, he thought.

"I wanted to ask, what happened to that other person that you... tried to kill?" asked Hongjoong hesitantly.

San sighed at that question. He was expecting the question already. There's no use in avoiding it. Wooyoung was looking at him. His eyes seemed to ask if he was okay talking about it. San just patted the other man's thigh gently as an answer.

"It was a simple assignment. Find the person and dispose of them. My client at the time didn't give me any details, just the target's description. I found them in an abandoned building praying, so I took the opportunity to finish the job. They were faster than me. Next thing I know, I'm pinned to the floor. I could see their eyes flash gold which made me realize that I wasn't dealing with a normal human.

"We struggled for a while, but I ended up stabbing them in the eye. I thought they wouldn't have the strength to fight anymore so I let my guard down. Huge mistake. Got knocked down, they grabbed my dagger and gave me this lovely scar. They licked some of the blood from the dagger and started chanting in a language I couldn't understand. I couldn't move after that; they had control over my body. I thought I was gonna die. They had cursed me under Calypso's name.

"'You are a part of me as I am a part of you. If I bleed, you bleed; if I breathe, you breathe. You belong to Calypso now for you had spilled Her blood' is how they cursed me. Then I understood everything. I could see everything they saw. I saw the past Emerald People, I saw the Aurora, and I saw Utopia," San seemed to shudder as he revived those memories.

"When I had snapped of it, it was already the next day and there was no trace of them. I started having dreams about them. In one of those dreams they told me you would come. I tried to refuse, but I felt like my heart was being ripped out of my chest. I then knew I couldn't refuse as much as I wanted. This is the price to pay for hurting an Aurora's Child. That's why I must help you now," finished San with a faraway look in his eyes.

A debt. Just like Youngjo's. Could he had been cursed by an Aurora's Child too?

"What happened to your client then?" asked Mingi.

"I had to lie and tell them I finished the job. Took some of Wooyoung's hair as proof."

San then turned to Hongjoong, "Anything else you wanna know?"
