Tomorrow was Julian's birthday and I was going crazy with the entire planning situation. We celebrated this weekend when Kai, Sophia and some of their Leverkusen friends came to Dortmund on saturday night to celebrate with a dinner hosted by Jannis since the actual day of his birthday happens to be on a thursday and most of them have school and work so the celebration wouldn't be as good.

Saturday was a success, Dortmund won the game against Hoffenheim and that itself lifted Julian's mood, so when it came to the dinner party he was as excited as a person could be.

But with that being said, I thought he would go to Bremen and see his parents tomorrow, but man, I was wrong, so now I'm left to organize a dinner so we can celebrate it, even though it will be just the two of us.

Getting him a gift also was a pain in the ass, what do you get a guy that is a millionaire and has everything? In the end I ended up getting him a pair of Nike Jordan's, the black and white one and a rolex watch him and Kai have been talking about nonstop, that one hurt my bank account, a lot.

I knew spending birthday away from family wasn't a good thing, I hated that detail about my past birthdays, so I wanted to make his birthday maybe as special as I could.

Of course I almost didn't do all this, maybe this is to much? I mean, we're friends with benefits, sure thing I'm well aware that whatever is happening in my side is beyond past that but the other side might not be, pretty sure it isn't so I don't really need to change what we already have... But clearly Mason changed my mind and now here I am, trying to get everything ready in my house for tomorrow when I need to get to his house.

- I left the key under the plant - Julian said on the phone - I should be home in 2 hours so we can order some food or something

- Yeah sure, I'll go after I'm done with work - I said back

- Okay, see ya Liv - He said before I turned the phone off

I couldn't fully do a surprise cause I had to make sure he didn't have plans but surprisingly  enough he didn't have any and agreed quickly, now all I had to do was to go over there and start cooking so everything would be ready before he arrived

- HAPPY BIRTHDAY! - I screamed at him when he entered his house seeing him laugh hugging me

- Thanks Liv - He said pulling me into a kiss

- Go shower, I'll wait outside! - I said pushing him to the stairs and turning around before he could even say anything back

- I'm back and wow - He said looking at the set up I have done it.

A little table was set up with some cheese and toasts, little starter dishes with some wine in the patio area Julian had in his backyard.

- You did this? - He asked hugging me and kissing my neck - Liv this is amazing

- Yeah but dinner is inside - I smiled becoming shy now that he was seeing everything

- God you're perfect - He said kissing me passionately

- Am not, but sure - I said embarassed after we broke apart - Now let me go get your gifts, stay here. - I said going inside his house leaving him seating outside

- What is it? - He asked like a little child and I rolled my eyes

- Before I give you then, I'd just like to inform that is really hard to give gifts to people that have everything - I said and he shook his head

- I told you not to get me anything

- As if I wouldn't give you anything Brandt. Now open the big box first.

I said and he started opening the box that had the Nike shoes inside and soon he was smiling at me

- How did you find them? - He asked and I shrugged

- Got them in London - I smiled at him seeing him deny his head - Now open the main one.

- OLIVIA - He screamed at me and I smiled seeing him in shock - Are you crazy?

- Nope, do you like it? - I smiled getting up to seat at his side

- What do you think? I love it - He said not letting me seat and pulling me into his lap - Thank you so so much - He said before kissing me and again I coupd feel the butterflies in my stomach - You set the bar high, I'm going to have to start planning something for your birthday now - He said and I scoffed

- I don't want anything, you can just enjoy it without taking me every 5 minutes? - I asked smiling at him who laughed

- Who knew I'd be this lucky to have you? - He said and I hided my face in his neck - You need to stop being embarassed

- You need to stop making me embarassed - I shot back seeing him laugh

- Fine, but seriously, thank you Liv, you can't even imagine how much this meant to me - He said and I smiled pecking his lips

- You deserve it - I shrugged it off running my fingers through his hair - Now, let's finish this cheese so we can eat the main dinner?

- Whatever you say babe - He kissed me before getting our wine glasses - But before, let's toast

- To you finally being 24 - I joked and he laughed - No, but seriously, that this new chapter just brings you even more success in your career and everything you might want in your life! - I said toasting his glass

- I already have everything I want in my personal life, thanks to you - He said before kissing me one more time of the many more that happened this night.
